Metal is modern classical music. No other music has the raw energy that metal does, and if you truly listen to classical you can hear metal's roots buried in there. Study music theory, it will open you ears to music in a whole new way.

Hugo Kadaf Ah I see, we have a language barrier problem. In English, my statement means that metal's roots are buried in classical music. That means that metal has characteristics of classical music that can be identified if you learn to listen.

Symphonic metal is metal made with symphonic instruments and style, while classical metal is classical music like Beethoven or Vivaldi re-imagined from a modern metal viewpoint. Both of these subgenres sound orgasmic to me but we have to have a distinction between them for clarity.

So wonderful how well classical music was converted into metal. In spite of the enormous gap between the introduction of the two genres they seem to go together so well.

Unn Knownst Metal does borrow some traits from classical music, which explains why the two go hand-in-hand when done properly. And there are even subgenres like Power Metal and Progressive Metal which directly include classic instruments and compositions that add a nice touch to the heavy, aggressive tones of Metal. That's how I see it anyway... Everyone has different views
