I hope you enjoy this novel technique of opening several stability bunkers from the same spot. The base is a proof of concept and could probably a bit stronger. One thing that I obviously missed is to upgrade the ceiling above the TC and probably above the center square to armored, to reduce the use of splash damage. In any case, I hope it transports the idea how to apply the multi-stability bunker technique and inspires you to build your own bases around it!

The problem of how to separate the loot into small sealed of compartments has caused me quite a headache for a couple of months now. The downside of building compact was that raiders can open multiple loot rooms with splash damage. The downside of spacing them out is that the base becomes incredibly expensive. This design looks very promising and I'm eager to try it out on a build server. Perfect timing for the new wipe, btw.

My group and I rushed this base for a starter group base for wipe and man, this thing is awesome! Very good base design! We added a bit of honeycomb and it's a 80 rocket raid with 8.5k metal and 85 HQM upkeep, and it costed us barely nothing!

Came home from work, logged on, found 2 jackhammers, three backpacks and only one broken sheet metal door (along with some broken spirits of raiders that gave up). This base + high externals. This base is a beast

I just saw this got the concept and came up with a build using the middle build just by overlapping the stairs of the concept on itself and making a large circle base

Stairs have changed and you cant place them anymore. However the bunker system still work. Ingeniously designed. 🙏

Straight down through the top you blow 2 sheet floors then the armoured floor into where the bags are you can open the 4 bunkers for 29 rockets, if suggest moving the locker and work bench and adding a half night honeycombing above the bunker bags so it's an extra 16 to it

Awesome design. I would definitely recommend for people to change the top design around just so people don't recognize it from this video. If they do, they can more easily identify the center armored floor, blow it and get access to the hidden loot.

I actually found a cheap way to raid this, I was on a server and I saw this base. At the time I had not even seen this video and am only finding it now, I blew through the doors and after we got to tc we were suspicious that there was more loot so we checked stability with a hammer and realized it was a bunker. We blew one of the ceilings above the stairs. After that I try Tried to crouch and walk through the stairs (the floor Ontop Of the stairs is broken so we could see into the “bunker excessing room” but we could not get in because of a floor in the way) my friend stood on my head and we realized that he could push me through. After a couple minutes I got in and broke the wall holding the bunker. If you are solo this is not possible to do. For me it took around 700 explosive ammo.

I had been working on a way to integrate a stability bunker into your frustrator base and settled on a really similar footprint except I only used two bunkers and they had to be opened separately. This will give me something to think about when I'm trying to sleep lmao

Great proof-of-concept. Only issue I see is that while it's 52 HQM daily for upkeep in the TC, it's another 28 HQM every time you seal the bunkers. That can get pricey...

I don’t even play Rust. But I can tell this demonstration would be really easy to follow. Most people are very confusing following directions

The strength of this type of base depends on the owner, if you do not close the base while roaming it is a cheap raid. Lots of people leave the wood wall in twig state which is also very cheap to break by using explosive ammo. Separated dropbox bunkers with a bed and a shelf are always maximum strength but a bit more annoying to use.

interesting in concept but as it currently sits the technique seems ineffective/impractical and needs much more refinement. in theory it creates partitioned loot which is good. but in practice you need only gain access to a single point to gain access to all of the loot more or less, so it is not actually partitioned. unlike standard bunker techniques it is extremely bulky and cumbersome, bunkers are already often easy to spot because of certain earmark build orders that you need, raised foundations and such, because of the bulkier format this becomes even more pronounced. and as a result of the increased bulk. the build cost becomes prohibitive relative to the protection provided. while 40 rocket defense is good, at that resource cost investment it becomes much less appealing. there are other bases you could build for similar or less cost that would take more than 40 to fully break provided proper loot partitioning. and within that 40 rocket cost, in effect, you are only breaking a single bunker, so you could simply have a standard bunker entrance. with rooms and doors beyond it and achieve a similar, and probably better result, as you would force them to then door raid to finish perhaps the best approach would be to work the technique into a hex base design separating partitions into 2 bunkers per basement instead of 4. it would strengthen a hex considerably, while at the same time not making an obvious outward tell that it was there. it would require at least a 3 ring hex though.

The sequence for the initial sleeping bag test can leave you unable to replace the middle square. You need to check by placing the bag first as it will allow you to place bag easily but not build over it so easily.

that looks amazing...You could actually place the furnaces in the honeycomb with a window in front of it. And that triangle you use to negate splash damage you could use as a roof acces to a second floor to make a shooting gallery. This has so much potential! And indeed...it's 24 rockets to TC but then..you still don't gain anything.. this base is simply not worth raiding (unless you keep more then 40 rockets or the equivilant in sulphur in there. (56k)

I placed the roof seal the opposite way on that triangle tile because I scuffed placing it facing the other way. You may be able to double roof seal with this method but I haven't tried it.

Another fantastic video, keep up the work! I’m sure you are busy, but I love the idea of stems. I have used many ideas in your videos in my own base designs with some modifications, to suit what I like. I don’t think newer players fully understand how “stem” base pieces can be used in their own base designs, it may be useful to have a video at some point showing the stems you typically use (such as unlootable loot rooms, roof stability seal etc). This mames online raid and going deep better than offline raid specially in 3-5 days wipe

straight through the roof it is 32 rockets, 2 metal and 1 armoured, then they can open the vaults edit: they get 2 vaults, then just need to blow through like 2-4 garage doors for the last 2 vaults, and if you keep explosives in the ones closest to the level 3 workbench, raiders can use them. so keep them in the ones closest to the airlock. Obviously this is also bad, so the best spot is the vault on the right of the locker if you are looking at it.

My only suggestion is to make the final inside wall of your honeycomb the half wall/low wall combo, so that you can put you furnaces in your honeycomb

Okay Evil, check this out man, I'm a raider, i get to the core, break the middle square and gg Thus raid is not a 42 rocket raid but a 24-32 and/or wtv you decide to make it to prevent raid from top down. Getting middle square will allow you to reach all boxes at once from top, then it's a matter of chance to see if gp is in the closest boxes to main core once in the bunker. Long story short: Concept is A+ Base design B- :P

Technically, nothing actually has to be hqm am I correct? The mixture of materials does not affect the stability? Putting stone honeycomb triangles in front of the (hqm only?)sheet metal foundations will hide the fact of a bunker untill they are taken out. Secondly a tip for everyone, if you want to hide the fact there is a roof stability seal, place a furnace in the lookout triangle near the entrance, in the left corner, effectively hiding the sheet metal roof overlap. Beautiful design, especially since it separates the loot with the armored stairs. I'll give you this one for free Mr Evil Wurst, I'm just not sure if it works anymore, or exactly how to go about it, but when experimenting around 1/2 patches ago on a build server, I realize that if you do it right, you can place a stairs within a stairs, allowing you to upgrade 2 armored stairs within one another, in this case, if you can get it to work, this will be the most OP bunker system ever. I think it may have been patched but I have not checked, and to help out in case you can't get it right, I'm pretty sure what I did was I used stairs to raise foundations a little higher than usual, you would then I believe, place the stairs level with the heightened foundation, and you would be able to place another stairs below it in the same socket persay, if 'm correct in this method being the right one, I believe you should first upgrade the low stairs and then the high stairs. My method described here is likely incorrect, and as I said it may be patched, but definitely worth looking into. If I try to recreate the method and find the correct steps, I will definitely let you know :) Love your videos peace.

2 doors , 4 garagedoors , 1 roof + 1 floor ( maybe HQM each ) and you can open the 4 sealed bunker loot rooms from inside with tools IF you know the building plan

If you're extra paranoid about your stuff being jacked: you can hatchet the foundations under the stability bunkers and add loads of hidden pouches under there.

if you want to collapse a single roof tile the trick is at 2:21 otherwise you get to destroy half your floors XD which is not the best of experiences took me like 5 times to get it :D

I went deep on some guys that built this exact base before I watched this video but they made the stairs stone so I was able to shoot the wood foundations and break the bunker lol

Good design would suggest metal or stone foundations where you can see armour on outside foundations 😁

if the blow square ceiling above the stairs and the wall of the TC, we will be able to salutate all 4 of the hopper (put the sleeping bag in the center and break the wooden 1/2 walls at the second bunker). Just need 15 missiles and missiles that would blow up the garage door

As a noob to rust, could someone explain why the half walls used for maintaining stability are upgraded to wood, and not left as twig?
