My kids are 12 and 10 and we have the same bed time routine till this day. It's prayers, hugs, then tickles...lots of tickles, more hugs and jokes then night night 😆. Sometimes I get called back in for more hugs .

Aw💜 Mine is 4.. and if I walk away ill get a "mommmmy, (in a 'duhh' voice) can't sleep before my forehead kiss" Most 12 year olds don't want to be around their parents, so you're doing something right 💪🏻

Bless you. That is an extremely difficult task raising so many kids the same age and you’re doing an amazing job. For me I would have had a literal stroke if I was told 4 were coming

Make bedtime a competition ,make a game out of it..at this age they all want to be first and want to be the center of attention.

Not that bad of an idea, but imo doing that everyday seems kinda “neglectful”, as in I don’t wanna deal with their needs at bedtime I don’t really know how to describe it otherwise because English is not my mother tongue, hope you can still understand my point Like every now and then, when running late or some other occasion it’s fine, but on a daily basis as a child I think you would much prefer this over a competition 🤔

I feel like that would foster animosity and cause tantrums. Speaking from experience with 2 babies (not mine,just babysitting) and when one wins .... the other gets angry and sad and starts a tantrum And that's the lastthing you wanna deal with ..... especially if they are sleepy and tired and grumpy

@@M.A.Y.Y there’s a difference between one on one competition and multiples competing, so that’s not really the best comparison. Obviously you’re going to feel a lot different if you’re the one and only loser than you would if you have two others who are still your equal.

My father and many others I know would just tantrum and yell and hit if we didn't go to bed. Healthy and understanding parents are needed, let's not assign it a gender, it's unnecessary and blatantly incorrect.

I struggle to put asleep my almost 5 year old every night. He will find something to ask or complain about to follow me around the house even after he is put to bed. With 4 I can't imagine the amount of work and patience, good job👏

This is the first video of yours that I’ve seen but I can tell I’m going to love your channel!! That big kid does the same thing to our dog almost every night before bed. Then gets upset when he doesn’t go to sleep!!!

So very sweet. We always tried to make bedtime fun as well. We never had little ones that cried every time it was bedtime. Doing this on a regular basis will make them look forward to bedtime and with the extra energy being expelled will help them to fall asleep faster and sleep more relaxed. Way to go mom and dad

Lol it’s a Dad thing, us Mamas get the kids calm and ready for bed, Daddy comes in and wham it’s mayhem, giggles and a mad half hour! My husband and MY Daddy both did this with my kids and I remember my Daddy doing the same with me and my brothers😂. It’s a little frustrating at the time but the fun memories are wonderful!

my kids love a bedtime story while they in bed as soon as im half way threw the story they are aslp i dont do water bottles as i dont want them getting up to go toilet a million times in the night or pee the bed

The best advise I can give to young parents is to read to your kids make it a bed time routine let them take turns picking the book make it a competition to see who can be in bed and ready for story time. Give them 30 minutes of your undivided attention. I did this with my boys and they both read 3 grades above level . They are now 19 and 22 and love to read. Yall have a beautiful family.

Love them up ! I had a 4 and 5 yr old then had quads in 93'. They will be 30 in April. Don't Blink. Take lots of videos and pictures !!!

Oh sweet sweet parent. You two have to remember you have so much energy and live raising one baby let alone 4 but you two seem very very well grounded. And PERFECT LOVELY PARENTS. UM I agree honey about letting Dad saying the last goodnite cause they know momma will give in because she doesn't want to know her babies want anything but that's just it honey it's not a need it's a want.
