Always liked the ending cinematic. Xaero ascends to a higher plane of existence after your battle with him. So who really won then? That is the question.

As I understand they are in a Arena where no one can die. Xaero lost and must allow Sarge to be the next champion.

I remember pitting bots against each other at the Nightmare difficulty and Major was the only one capable being on par or even defeating Xaero, pretty good.

Xaero had literal aim bot while fighting him (at max difficulty), but I still remember his hilarious weakness lol. In the map there's an environmental kill you can do by shooting up a cube that squashes players. Xaero seemed to love going under it hahahah. Easy kills after knowing that.

i thought you didn't get frags for environmental kills including that one. or is that just about giving him negative points so you can eventually eclipse his score? plus if he always stuck with the railgun and stayed far away using an aimbot he'd essentially be impossible for a human to defeat.

In quake live you can spawn a xaero with thinktime 0 and he will absolutely wreck you with lg and rails. Its the hardest bot in all of fps. Only way to kill him is sneaking up on him with rockets and denying him lg and rail

There is not too much of story, actually. Just Arena of Eternity, made by gods for their own entertainment. Characters' backstories though? Absolutely yes. Mad robots, stroggified humans, undead, demons, cyber-vampires - hell, that was interesting, though there wasn't a lot of additional information to it

@holdkaeftima Totally. I agree. I always felt the movement and play was too "Lose" and unrealistic in UT, but the weapons they had were cool. The flack cannon was so fun. Although in mt playing experience Q3A was much harder to master. It took several plays over a few weeks on Nightmare in Q3A before I was ready for online play. In UT I mastered it in like 3 days. Also I loved modding, modleing, skinning, maping, and textureing in Q3A. Was Known as Magnus back in the day and on the forums.
