You guys are being fanboys right now. While I think Tsunoda is much faster than Gasly, he had shown impatience many times that caused him in the race or qualifying. Maldonado was very fast as well, but then do people remember his pace or his reckless driving? I hope Tsunoda gets better, and I think he will, but dismissing legitimate criticism is pretty ridiculous. Also, don’t forget that Max, Vettel, Hamilton and many others hit the ground running. That’s the expectation placed upon a rapidly promoted driver. If you can jump formulas like that, you are expected to be a superstar in the making.

We are man, I always watched F1 with my grandpa, we were always cheering on Verstappen, but he passed away last year the day before the Bahrain GP. I’m of course still sad for many, many reasons but also for that he couldn’t witness this amazing season

@@Jacobbunt honda is trying stuff with their engine on the alpha tauris so they can use their findings on the red Bull. Probably tsunoda and gasly got a decent pace upgrade these couple of gp's. Nevertheless very nice final races for tsunoda and ofcourse gasly has been phenominal in the alpha this year. Would be interesting to see how they evolve next year.

He doesn't mean only sideways or only forward. He means if you want to accelerate forward as fast as possible then you need to make sure there is no sideways acceleration using up the traction budget of your tires. It's not inherently as simple as you think

Unfortunately I fear that it might be over for Max because of that lockup that ruined his medium tyres, he starts on soft which means 2 pitstops which mean losing 25 seconds at the minimum on Hamilton... I swear if he loses the championship because of a little lockup that ruined his only set of medium in q2 I honestly can't believe it, between this and the amount of unlucky races in the first half of the season, he should be 60 points ahead by now it's almost sad, he deserves to be champion

@@mordor1779 nah mate relax, remember a 2 stopper can be more beneficial than a 1 stopper. Look back at hungary 2019, france 2021. You can close a gap of 25 seconds in 15-20 laps with fresh tyres. He is at an advantage at the start and he is faster on race pace (data confirms this). So he can pull a gap on him during his first stint and because he is on a 2 stop he can basically push all the time. If he drives cleanly and passionately as we know him, he will take this home for us.
