I always say Cobi is best but now QuanGuad did really nice job

To be fair on Cobi, the World of Tanks Matilda II was released all the way back in 2017(iirc) so it's bound to look rough and outdated. Their 1:28 scale Tank Museum Version with the sweet orange/gray dessert camo patter certainly looked a lot better than QuanGuan and even their latest 1:35 scale Battle of Arras version blows the competition out of the water.

Cobi hands down and worth the price. QuanGuan only for something that is not available. They should make an SD. KFZ 234-Puma, or 234/4, 151/22, Raupenschlepper Ost (RSO) or other such vehicles.

The newer Cobi Matilda that the tank museum did way more detailed then the older one you have. It not in production anymore. So i would say they roughly same in details.

I have all three of the previous Cobi 1:28 scale (not the 1:35 Arras set) Matilda II models (the less said about their first iteration the better!) and I own this QG version - the QG version IMHO is a much more accurate and better display model than the Cobi versions but the brick quality was disappointing had a real challenge getting a few of the bricks to join properly - I have quite a few QG models which have been fine this had by far the poorer quality bricks - but nonetheless as a display model it’s great and well worth the money.

❤agree the brown and tan tank looks away away better then the smaller tank.❤❤😊😮🎉 + way more detailed than the other tank.

Imo Cobi one is too short. Yeah, it is old set, but who cares? With Quan release their matilda - great time for Cobi to make new modern set. Matilda is quite famous tank after all.

Cobi fanboys are like. No no it can't be. So gross. Why are people fanboys? Apple, sony, you name it. They think a company can do no wrong and it's gross. Everyone should be a neutral opinion. I prefer to always be neutral and I hold no brand loyalty. Cobi most of the time is the best, but in some cases they are not.

I've just finished the 1:28 scale conversion of this specific model. Some pieces are hard to blend with the whole tank. The conversion take me some days but finally i have a model that respect proportionally the cobi' s panzer III dimensions. i bought also 1.5 wide track links from bluebrixx to finish the job. Now the two desert beasts can fight ;)

The second one. I've take the inspiration from the 1:28 scale RazReview Matilda, posted on reddit, made with 100% cobi parts. The model shows it's limitation on tracks width. For this reason i've ordered the bluebrixx 1.5 track links. After that i've reduce the hull width to 8 studs. Also remember ti reduce the general lenght of the model and the turret size. The complexity of this conversion is maxed out from the necessity to respect the correct camouflage, but it's not impossibile. The food news is that from the conversion you have a BAG of bricks in excess!

Das ich mal ein Modell gebaut habe bevor Du es vorstellst 🗽😂 Unglaublich 😉 Design von Gum Gum 👍 allerdings sind die von Cobi 's Qualität noch Lichtjahre entfernt 🤷🏼‍♂️ Die Version von deiner Tilda kenne ich auch noch nicht 😮 Auch bestimmt schon ein bisschen Älter? Ich hab gerade den kleinen Leo von den Chinesen gebaut.Der iss ja niedlich gerade wenn er neben dem T-28 von Panlos steht 😅
