What about when in motion? Which is better? Everyone says the Sony handles motion better. I am wondering about streaming sports. I am thinking about the s90c 77inch. Worried about the motion on that large of a tv. Worried about the pixelation on a 77 inch.

Probably would’ve been more curious to see more of a torture test. Upscaling of older shows on streaming services that have lots of blocky artifacting, broadcast TV/sports, and that kind of stuff. I think all the 720p and below stuff is most likely what the Samsung QD-OLEDs have an issue with. We can already see the Sony is possibly better with smoother gradients, so I don’t think it’s crazy to think that cleanup processing may also carry over to stuff like KZfaq TV, cable boxes, etc. Relieving to know the S90C looks good with clean 1080p sources though.

Have u checked when watching youtube videos if both tvs have the same resolution? Sometimes youtube auto does not maximize the resolution to 2160p or as high the video can go

The only thing under attack here is the “SONY TAX” against all other comparable models and hair splitting technology. The Willingness to pay more for name recognition is the real question.

Hi, I’ve got a question about the CU7000 and CU8000. I remember you said the CU8000 is good for anime in a past video. Does this hold true for the CU7000 as well? I’ve noticed some differences between the two models. The CU7000 seems to have deeper blacks and better contrast, while the CU8000 has more vibrant colours. Considering the current discount, the 65 inch CU7000 is quite a steal for just 377 bucks! Would love to hear your thoughts on this, especially if your settings for the cu8000 will be suitable for the cu7000. Thanks!

Quantum I can currently buy a 65” S95b in the U.K. for £1749 or a 65” S90c for £1999 or 77’ for £2299 would you still recommend the S95b

Quantum, I’ve been wondering about this for some time you going to need to educate me. Is Sony bad motion, due the XR processor chip or no. If so when do you thing new processors chip. Cause the remember Sony never had motion issues before with x900e, x930e.

Personally, as a C2 owner, and an AW3423DW owner, the latter has better color and HDR highlights. I'm looking to upgrade to C2 to a QD-OLED. Between the A95L and the S95C, which of the two creates the most consistent clarity and pop in gaming? I can stomach less than stellar upscaling in other content. I just want to know which tv presents the best consistent visual fidelity in 4k on the PS5

I would hope Sony corrects this blue tint (flat image effect) but honestly at this price point why would anyone by an unfinished product? It’s just too many issues that clearly require an update fresh out the box for that staggering price tag.😢

Yo ik this is not related to the video, but will your settings for Samsung cu8000 work for cu7000? You also said in your cu8000 review video that it's good for anime, so will the cu7000 also be good enough? From what I know the 7000 has deeper blacks and better contrast than the 8000 but the 8000 has more brighter saturation and colours.

Samsung is size 55, and Sony is size 65? Because of the size, the sharpness also changes, so 55 will be sharper than 65.

Great video I definitely will never by another Sony tv since it cost too much and the quality is not good enough to justify the price when you can get a Samsung OLED for a lot less and better quality picture

I have the A95k, S90C, and C1 all currently owned. This is more from a gaming perspective, games that run non native on my PS5 like Jedi fallen order, final fantasy 16, returnal, kingdom hearts, and so on running 1080p at 60 fps the A95K is undoubtedly the best using their reality creation feature if you want to improve clarity. Literally a landslide victory clearing up and removing any blurriness in those games and made them look almost 4K, the S90C was a far second, it upscaled subtly, the C1 came in last, pretty much left the image as is. In other content the A95k was able to push the clarity further then the other brands. Of course you can over do it but it’s great if needed, but this is coming from own experience with these tv’s and spending a lot of time comparing the upscaling for non native 4K. The Sony will give you more of a movie theatre like experience with how they present their image, the s90c and c1 provides something a little different. Depends on what you’re looking for and what content you use the most.

May I say and agree the samsung is the clear winner this year the sony is junk this year and is not worth the price or the hype save yourself the money and time and buy samsung

To my eye it looks like the Samsung is a smaller size. Because of that it’s impossible to judge the sharpness and color.

17:10 to me the Sony image looks better, the Samsung looks like a enhanced low resolution content, while the Sony looks like its downscaled from a high resolution. The samsung just forces a bit more contrast that gives artificial contrasty look, and also hence seemingly reveals some details that are also in the Sony image but not as visible. I'm really a sucker for contrast but here it highlights the lower resolution of the image too much
