I’m not trying to be rude but I think the reason people are upset isn’t due to the fact that you arent making an effort to social distance yourself. Just in general, being “quarantined” with one family in Florida and then after 2 weeks traveling across states to quarantine with a different group of people is VERY dangerous. Think of all the spots/ people you could’ve infected along the way. Think of what you could be bringing from group to group, or what they could bring to you. Quarantining is pointless if you are going to change who you’re quarantining with. I recognize that down south covid May have not reached the extent it’s effected the north of this country, but that’s why it’s so important to social distance to stop it from ever getting so bad in South Carolina or anywhere else. Wear gloves in Walmart! Don’t tumble at a gym! Dont hang out with boys who dont life with you! Don’t get your eyelashes done! Even 2-3 weeks ago, this still stands, it should’ve been even more important then. BUT no use crying over spilled milk, it’s more helpful to have perspective moving forward. Again, really not trying to be rude, more so trying to translate the more angry responses to this video into something constructive. Of course she cares about the spread! Of course she’s doing her best! It’s just important to have perspective and the right information. Hanging out with your roomates isn’t the problem here.

I’m sorry but you aren’t quarantining yourself. You can’t keep changing who you are “quarantining” with, that defeats the whole purpose. I would think as a nursing student you would get the seriousness of this all. I am a nurse and the only person I have seen for the last month is my roommate. It’s a slap in the face as a healthcare professional to see someone who really doesn’t care.
