I thought everybody understood why Takeoff said “Does it look like I was left off”. The reason why nobody is giving straight answers is because Takeoff has writing credit on the song. He’s making money just like everybody else off the song….. that’s why he doesn’t “LOOK” (he was referring to his jewelry etc.) like he was left off…. He more than likely wrote the hook and possibly contributed to other lyrics in the song…..

Like Quavo and Offsett normally do……..they take up all the talk time during all interviews and don’t give Takeoff the opportunity to speak. It’s more like why didn’t the interviewer ask Takeoff that question, he was right there, these things are obviously discussed ahead off time before going into interviews, the potential for that question to come up; so therefore he would be the one to give the explanation. I’ve watched a lot off these interviews since the passing off Takeoff and I don’t like any off the interviews, because there’s three off them in that group and he just sits there and we don’t ever get to hear his thought process on how he makes his decisions on things. I did read a quote recently where he said he doesn’t like to do interviews, because he doesn’t get paid to do them and he just likes to make the music and stay in the background. He says people think he’s dumb, but he sees and knows the PLOT, so he just lets the music speak for itself. It still would have been nice to really……..hear his perspective on how his mindset works where his process is concerned. Anyway unfortunately we won’t get that opportunity anymore to ever see or hear from him anymore in real time. He was so……..dam…….gifted, I loved his laid back personality and how private he was. As migo fan, there are songs on their album where all three aren’t always in a song. (Usually either Offset or Takeoff because Quavo usually on every song) Just go listen to some of the songs that are not singles. This wasn’t extremely unusual. But it does kinda suck that that is their most known for song and he’s not on it. Low key, he probably felt a way about it and did his best not to ever show it. Sleep in peace Take❤
