I honestly feel it is one of the worst because of the rich guy. Usually the food Anthony eats has a direct attachment to the place he is in and the person making it. This is just some rich guy bought some great food and is having workers cook it for them in some remote location. This episode lacks the soul I am used.

I wandered with a friend for hours through the hilly streets of Tangier looking for a Bourdain featured spot. Finally, after we found it was closed, we settled on a restaurant almost next door to it with the same menu and probably the same food. It became clear to me that the very philosophy of Bourdain was broken when you tried to copy him. He was encouraging each of us to brave our own trail and to savor our own experiences because they belong to us.

Quebec has to be the one part of Canada where everyone seems to take their entire cuisine (and not just a few local specialties) very seriously indeed. My wife and I would travel to Quebec, mainly Montreal, Quebec City and the Eastern Townships for long weekends and short holidays mainly to be immersed in good food and quality service.

Bourdain is the most honest and down-to-earth travel show host on television. He doesn't mince his words, nor does he fake his reactions. If he doesn't like what he is eating, he states it outright for his audiences to hear. Other travel show hosts may be pompous narcissistic jackasses, but Bourdain certainly is not.
