Queen Alexandra at various events in various locations.
Queen Alexandra arrives in open coach for official event and is greeted by dignitaries, she talks to them from the coach Queen Alexandra arrives at a church, walks under awning and is greeted by victor. Queen Mary standing by automobile, she walks toward camera with confused expression her face. King George V & his mother Queen Alexandra walk by. Brief shot man riding horse.

my great-grandma met her when she was a teenage girl in the 20's. She said she was kind and pretty.

I'm American, but the royal family & the history behind their fashion & jewels fascinates me. Queen Alexandra is one of my favorites. She was such a breath of fresh air. Seeing her going about her duties like this instead of in a picture is absolutely amazing!

Maria certainly aged. She looked older than her older sister Alexandra. Alexandra looked quite young until her last few years. Marie lived a more dangerous life in Russia, plus she wasn't a kind person, at least not like her sisters. Being a sour person and stressed will age a person.

Actually she died just 5 months before the birth of Elizabeth 😮 that would've been a historic picture with Queen Alexandra holding the future Queen Elizabeth ll

It is very rare to see in 2023 to see Queen Elizabeth's grandmother Queen Mary and great grandmother Queen Alexandra together in film footage at an event in England considering that Queen Alexandra died nearly 100 years ago in 1925 one year before Queen Elizabeth was born.

Alexandra was once one of the most beautiful princess inEurope and one reason why Bertie married her in 1863. She was the Princess Diana of her days also her husband later king Edward VII had been unfaithful to her many times throughout the marriage.

Bertie was wise enough to never tolerate slander or gossip about Alexandra from his friends, however. If Charles had had the good sense to insist on respect towards Diana, even from his mistress, the marriage might have survived. But, no, Charles has always been a petty little simp instead.

@SB_McCollum Charles and Diana were both unlovable people and disliked each other from the start of their marriage. She confirmed that she had an affair first with Barry Manakee and two other men who were all her security guards and even broke up two marriages from her excessive affairs, gaining a restraining order from harrasing the man's wife she was no Saint

Delightful woman but there’s a sad figure you can see a few times, her second daughter Princess Victoria, who Alexandra was reluctant to allow to marry and basically tied her down to a lifetime of being her personal assistant without a life of her own. Victoria is regarded as the most intelligent of Alexandra’s 5 surviving children and sadly her confined unfulfilling life somewhat embittered her. Alexandra was no doubt a loving, lovely woman but her expectation that Victoria would be her lifetime handmaiden was very misguided and somewhat selfish. Victoria lived 10 years after her mother’s passing and so in the last decade of her life at last was able to experience a private and independent existence and enjoyed involving herself with the local community where she lived in Iver Bucks. She died suddenly in December 1935 at the age of 67 and her brother, King George V, was devastated (she was his favourite sister). It is said that the loss contributed to his own final decline and he himself died just a few weeks after.

In some parts of the video, it looks like they are in a Category 1 Hurricane. Look at the palm trees and the hanging banners. It is very windy, and yet no one's hat is being blown off. Strange.

To be fair to queen Mary I think she was aging at a normal pace, it’s just that somehow Alexandra, as well as her sister the empress of Russia, ended up with some amazing anti aging genes!
