My great great grandfather was Master of Signals on the royal yacht when Princess Alexandra was brought from Denmark in 1862!

This first look into Queen Alexandra's suite of jewels was wonderful. Looking forward to part 2 . If there's an investiture for the present Prince of Wales, I hope the Princess of Wales wears the Ladies of North Wales Broach. These jewels , especially Queen Alexandra's wedding parure should be worn by both the Princess of Wales and the Queen Consort

There is unlikely to be an Investiture. The Royals and Government know there's already too much antipathy towards England in Wales, and a ceremony will further spur the movement for Wales to leave the Union.

The Princess of Wales has already worn Princess Alexandra’s wedding necklace and she wore the diamond set Prince of Wales feathers brooch with the emerald pendant during the recent State Visit by the President of South Africa. Hopefully we will see Catherine wearing one of the brooches to the Coronation of King Charles III in May.

I can’t believe the Rundell Tiara was sold at auction, after Princess Victorias death. I’m surprised Queen Mary didn’t snap it up, for parts to another Tiara redesign.

In those days and in her position, she unfortunately didn't really have a choice. Divorce would have been unthinkable. Rumour has it though that she ceased sexual relations with her husband once he started philandering. When Bertie was delirious with typhoid in 1871, he was heard shouting at her "you have broken your vows"!
