How the hell did he hit notes like that. He never lost his voice even with his sickness. Man I'll tell you i really do believe Freddy was a gift from God. There will never be another Freddy Mercury. @@wijayatelurpwkt4737 This song sung in the original key and with the original phrasing is nearly impossible for a man to sing, that's why most of the covers are by females. He didn't have a very high-pitched voice and it's totally fine if he lowers some notes. Anyways, it sounds better this way, I've never been a fan of these high pitched screams in the studio version.

Usualy they did certain pranks to each other, making a music take longer or (how Roger did) start earlier. That's why after the countdown Freddie says "Hehe, you caught me now!" and Roger smiles in a joker way. It's amazing see the spirit of the group after 15 years. ps: Later in this same show, when they're covering some old songs and making it last longer, freddie will drink and they hurry him, then he says "I don't care, I need my fuck*ng water"

Brian said that they all follow Rogers timing with songs . Freddie would often improvise live and Roger had free reign on drums. Brian and Roger had little signals or looks they would give each other in regards to speeding things up or slowing down and Deacy played near Roger a lot to keep the bass in sync with the timing of the drums. I read all this in a book somewhere recently.

In reality, he was the LAST member of the band to release anything under his own name, and no one in the band had an issue with it. Me and my girl saw it yesterday here in Brazil - and I must say - we fall into tears at the end of Live Aid scene. My God, they done a trully wonderfull and beautifull job at this movie. ALL the characters were GREAT at his roles (specially Rami of course). The love and passion that these four guys put on their music through the years, are something mindblowing and very unique and the producers made it eternal. Thank you for all people involved, and THANK to all Queen member. The love is forever!

I liked the movie indeed, I was just a bit unhappy with all the anachronisms... then again, I think being a die-hard fan doesn't help to be a good audience. 😂 I was still blown away by the casting. Gwilym Lee and Joseph Mazzello look so much like Brian and John it's scary. And props to Rami Malek for having impersonated Freddie so well!

No one ever as long as this world exists could ever come close to the charisma, magnetism, love and spiritual peace Freddie radiated in every single performance through his lifetime, live or otherwise. The man was an angelic being sent by God for our pleasure.

Roger: ONE TWO THREE FOUR!! *Another One Bites The Dust* starts playing. Freddie: Heh hey! He called me out!
@decodolly15354 жыл бұрын
Freddie says "You caught me out", meaning he wasn't ready. Roger counted the song in early while Freddie was going for a drink. Hence Freddie's hand gesture and "WTF?!" facial expression.

@decodolly15354 жыл бұрын
@@weltraumsurfen2049 It was definitely "You caught me out". I was at the gig, way in front as close to the stage as was possible without actually joining the stage crew, and by pure fluke, directly opposite Freddie when he said it.

weltraumsurfen: I’m pretty sure it was “you called me out”. It sounded like that and makes more sense. It’s not that important really, love hearing him say it when he’s caught off guard.

You can see FM is exhausted, but he has little tricks in his bag of magic to build in a little breather near the end, then comes back at 110% to finish. What a guy! I Love the Break-Up bit at the end. Love seeing Brian smile. You were right, Freddie - No stopping til you're all dead.
