After the Golden Jubilee thanksgiving service at St Paul's Cathedral, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were hosted for lunch at Guildhall by the Lord Mayor of the City of London. There, Her Majesty made a speech in which she thanked her family and peoples, and acknowledged the coinciding of her jubilee celebrations with the FIFA World Cup.
