Hello lovelies, today I will be discussing Queen Elizabeth's favorite Beauty products.
Elizabeth II was born April 21, 1926, and is Queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms. Elizabeth was born in London, the first child of the Duke and Duchess of York, later King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, and she was educated privately at home. Her father ascended the throne on the abdication of his brother King Edward VIII in 1936, from which time she was the heir presumptive. She began to undertake public duties during the Second World War, serving in the Auxiliary Territorial Service. In 1947, she married Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, a former prince of Greece and Denmark, with whom she has four children.

I absolutely love this video! My father told me that he got to meet her when she was in the United States back in the 80's on some kind of tour. He said that she was very kind and classy, and well dressed. Needless to say I was jealous! Thanks again. Now I am looking into Elizabeth Arden- I want to try her products! I have seen a few of her fragrances in stores, and I need to try them!

I love that she uses such inexpensive brands like Yardley. You can get the soap at the dollar store and you can get a large bottle of the fragrance for like $20 or so.

The Queen is a country girl at heart. So "going over the top" with make up isn't something that she would do. But she would want to make sure that her skin was well looked after, to keep it healthy and radiant. Having good genes doesn't hurt either!

My grandma saw the queen when she visited Portugal in 1957. My grandma was pregnant with my mom at the time, she went out on her balcony to get a look at her. She saw the queen in the car as passed by with her entire entourage. She didn’t even have to leave her house lol

Loved hearing all the Queen"s favorites. Thank you. I'll have to try the 8 hour hand/manicure cream she loves.. I love the Yardley Soap and I think Clarins products are so nourishing. This past winter I wore Clarins Spicy Cinnamon lipstick and the color was perfect for me. The 💄 packaging is so high end vintage, all gold.

I have used Elizabeth Arden since a teenager 💕I begged my Daddy to take me to a department store for grown up makeup and that’s where he took me - he said all the great ladies use Elizabeth Arden. He talked about the ladies he knew growing up in California after the war and about the glamour of old Hollywood.... Needless to say, I was in a spell ever since! I’ll have to tell him about the Queen!

So interesting! Clarins has a powder that you mixed with water and made a scrub, I used it in the 70s and it’s the only thing that cleared up my acne back then. My grandmother worked for Guerlain back then and got me so many goodies. Back then makeup “palettes” were in these big boxes, so much packaging and hard to store but I loved everything ❤️

Neat story about meeting the queen. I was surprised that Dior was not included. I once saw a documentary about her. It showed her maids packing her makeup and it was all Dior. I can see her using Clarins. I have always wanted to try some Clarins lipsticks in reds and berry shades

I got the same exact Yardley English Lavender soap at Dollar General in their DOLLAR aisle for... $1.00. The Queen uses US$1.00 soap 🧼. 😶🤯🤯 Just blown away right now. 😵

I've used all the products the Queen wears. I particularly like clatrins flash balm. Little tit bit. The Queen says, its ok to reapply your lipstick in public. Enjoyed video 👍🏻

Those older photographs remind me of the shillings that I was given for pocket money as a child in the Sixties. I saw the Queen when I was nine, I was with my teacher and class. We saw her wave at us from her car, she was wearing a pale blue hat and coat, and my school friends and I were standing at the entrance to a sports centre, in our sports clothes and school blazers with our sports teacher. The Queen was on her way back from opening a new local hospital, which I worked in as a temporary filing clerk, many years later in my thirties.

I love your channel but especially Queen Elizabeth. I’ve used and continue to use many of the products you mentioned in your tape. I have a question. In the movie Niagra, Marilyn Monroe used a tube of red lipstick often. When her purse spilled out, there was a tube with a rhinestone cover. I’ve searched to find the brand of lipstick that was. I vaguely remember my mother having a similar tube. Do you know anything about that? I’ve been thinking it was Max Factor. But I could be thinking of something I recall from the 1950s and my childhood. Perhaps you can help me with this wonderful memory. Thank you for your gracious assistance. You’re wonderful. And I do love the dressing table accessories of the late 40s early 50s. And cellioide purses. Keep up your very interesting work. Please.

I have used the English Yardley lavender soap. You can buy it at Dollar Tree. Lavender does help relax you. I like the smell. I would like to try the Yardley perfume.

Honestly I didn't expect to recognize so many brand names, or for one of them to be Essie, which a lot of people can afford from the drugstore. I can understand the reasoning for not having extremely ostentatious brands for everything though, for the sake of publicity but also because she was a young woman getting married during WWII rationing. I don't know who you have already profiled but if you haven't yet, I think it would be lovely to watch a profile like this of Princess Diana, Meghan Markle, Audrey Hepburn, Anne Hathaway. I think it would also be interesting to learn about the actual self care routines (like skincare, etc) of these elegant women.
