Flash Gordon is not The Flash; two different characters. If you’ve ever seen the movie “Ted” with Mark Wahlberg, they spend the whole thing referencing Flash Gordon. It’s good cheesy 80’s fun with an awesome Queen soundtrack! You should react to Queen’s “Princes of The Universe,” from the “Highlander” soundtrack.

This was the music for such a fun and campy Flash Gordon movie in the 80’s. A friend of mine likes to show the movie to his kids and they think it’s weird and cringe. They’ll learn to love it someday!

This was basically the best soundtrack in the Universe, written by the coolest band in the Universe, performed by the greatest singer in the Universe, for the worst movie in the Universe. It's perfect.

Flash Gordon is an outer space hero that goes back to a 1930s comic strip, and has had various movies and series made over the years, including the 80s movie this song is from.

I remember going to see this movie to the movie theater without knowing much about it. I absolutely loved it. And fell in love to Ornella Muti. And when Timothy Dalton became James Bond i remembered him from this movie.

Yes, this is the band's first adventure into movie themes. Follow this up with "Princes of the Universe" (the theme to "Highlander") and "One Vision" (the theme to "Iron Eagle") and you've got a trilogy.

Saw this movie during its first run in the theatre as a kid. I don't care what they say about it not holding-up because of its cheesy special effects and storyline, this movie was da absolute BOMB, in my mind, and captured my imagination in a MAJOR way! The theme song was so prominently played throughout and just added more fuel to the imaginary fire! Back then, Queen were the "Kings"(pun intended ;) of the cheesy Sci-Fi soundtracks! Lol They had another song for the first "Highlander" movie, I believe, which was also a very cheesy GEM, but oooh sooo AWESOME!

Brian May wrote this song for the soundtrack for the movie Flash Gordon. This is my current ringtone, and People really react to it. I didn't think anyone really saw that movie but I am apparently wrong and most said that they loved the soundtrack.
