I remember this day so well as I was in the video! As a Queen Fan Club member at the time I was invited to Sheperton Studios for the day, met the band, got their autographs and ultimately am ever so proud to be part of an iconic video. It was incredibly exciting to meet the Band and be so close to them having only seen them at a distance at concerts - a wonderful experience that still lives in my memory to this day.

Radio ka ka if you listen to it? that was the original title as felix said it walking in on Freddie and roger as they were writing the lyrics, go listen to it and there is an interview where roger tells you its actually radio ka ka, but obviously they had to go with ga ga because in french it stands for sh123, as felix is French.

It's kind of amusing that young women and girls still go crazy over Freddie and the other boys- they are old enough now to be their granddads. This is proof to me that the world today needs more handsome, charming, talented and educated men, be it in entertainment or in everyday life. I'm glad to have witnessed their great times; Queen's music was the soundtrack of my youth, and of course I was madly in love with Freddie.

Nina - funny, I was 13 the year of Live Aid. We must be about the same age. I liked Brian then, as I got older my appreciation for Freddie grew. Saw Queen with Adam in 2017 and Brian and Roger both looked phenomenal but it’s hard not to appreciate how absolutely gorgeous and humble Adam is.

I was 7 during Live Aid. I remember asking my mom who was the beautiful man with the mustache. And then I discovered John Deacon (my third crush, right behind Christopher Plummer and Bob Crane). You could tell they were all good friends. Not only during the recording but for life. The remaining members still miss Freddie (so do I) and wouldn't quit until they got their movie made. The movie that revived their music and earned them a nomination at the Billboards!

John was always so cute, quiet, and innocent......at LIVE AID and the Wembley concert they were all in their mid to late 30s but John always looked like a cute high school kid who happened to leave his skateboard somewhere and decides to play bass in front of 70,000.....He must have really missed Freddie when he passed away
