Freddie's existance was all the more precious for its brevity. For not only will he be forever remembered for the songs he sang, he will be forever mourned for the songs he never got to sing. If it is true that a man is never dead so long as his name is spoken, then Freddie Mercury truly will live forever.

“My apologies but I say what I want.” 😂 There is only one Freddie Mercury!! And no one I mean no one can replace Mr. Fahrenheit!! OMG!! Yes, there are singers who are great only on a technical level .... but Freddie is the master of emotion & passion when it comes to singing the song! He sings like it’s the question he has been asking himself “who wants to live forever”? 💗👑💗👑

You are so right! Freddie’s voice was just spectacular- all natural, raw, God given talent! There is more to being a great vocalist than just being a technical trained singer. They can have great technique but lack energy, emotion, and connection to the song & audience. Freddie’s voice was versatile, rich with emotion, and you feel every word & note he sang! A powerful charismatic performer in addition to his iconic songwriting, production, artistic, and instrumentalist skills! 💯 Irreplaceable Legend!!

Oh my Lord, this one gets me crying every time. It's the music, the lyrics but especially Freddie's performance, his voice, his emotion, his face, his stage presence, HIM! He gives texture to every song, he makes us feel every note, every word as if ours. That amazing man was and forever will be the King of us all. There can be only one, Freddie Mercury, Mr. Farenheit, our Mr. Bad Guy 💖💖💖💖👑👑👑👑🔥🔥🔥🔥🌡️🌡️🌡️🌡️

A journalist, I think it was a journalist, once said that Freddie's voice was "a force of nature with the velocity of a hurricane". I think this song, both the studio version and all the live versions of this song, show that to be true. Of course Freddie's voice is always amazing but some songs show the power and depth of his singing more than others. He just knew how to sing every song with the right emotion and where each note should be within every word. Just incredible. Oh dear, he is just the best. Can you react to In My Defence. It's just Freddie, not Queen. Love your reactions. And, I love your accent. I could listen to you two talk all day. Thank you for making time to give us these great reactions. 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞💙💙💙💙💙💙💜💜💜💜

I feel so emotional having watched this - what an incredible performance by the whole band, but especially by Freddie. We won't see his like again, what a showman who as I've said before, could work a crowd and have them in the palm of his hand. Sad to think in a few short years he would be gone. Everyone I reckon must have their favourite Queen song or songs, they had such a fantastic catalogue. Who Wants to Live Forever is a really wonderful song, but as I said, so emotional. My partner was lucky enough to go to this concert, he was in London training for Arsenal football club at the time, had limited money but spent what he had on a ticket, he still to this day, says it was amazing, so deeply moved he got to see Freddie at his best. Sadly his career as a striker passed after he suffered a terrible injury, so not only did he train and play for the mighty Glasgow Rangers, but Arsenal too,, I’m so envious he got to see Queen. Bless him 🥰

You may already know but this song was written for a movie & it fits to perfection. The film is a cult classic we still watch today, it’s called Highlander and I think you would enjoy it if you’ve never seen it. Queen were asked to do film songs often but mostly said no. The director asked them to watch a rough cut after they had turned it down. They agreed & Freddie had most of the song by the end of the movie. I believe they delivered the demo in 3 days. The movie & music together in a theatre was magic.

Guys, you need to do the 1986 Wembley Concert from start to finish in 20 minute blocks. I’ve seen the whole concert so can assure you it’s EVERYTHING you could hope for from music of the time to music of the 50’s. They are magnificent in every genre they play.

This is why I love you guys. Obviously my favorite band since hearing WWRY/WATC in the car on the way to hockey practice in 1977. I was 11. I said to go slow in previous comments, for any band no matter which one. There's a shit ton to get through.(1965-1980) You're pulling out songs from my favorites once every 2-6 weeks. I don't wanna see 5 reactions in 5 days by the same band. If you wanna do 5 reactions to the same band or album, do it in one single long video or spread it out like you guys do. Keep up the good vibes. Cheers, the canadian Queen nut.
