The authority you talk about doesn't seem like servant leadership, you've taken the headship assigned to men greater better, more powerful. It's servant leadership, the Bible modelled the headship between a husband and his wife (NOT men in general over women in general) after Jesus and the church, and it is not egostitical, a husband headship isnt because it is earned or that men are the better sex, it is an assignment, a duty given by God, not a role affirming man's ego. So yes a woman can walk away from from a nonsense man, forget the crown analogy, he is not her head yet.Man is not inferior to woman, neither is woman inferior to man (that can't be found in the Bible either, eisegesis would make it seem that way though). Exactly. And remember, the worst people who hinder you the most from using your gifts, talents and abilities are the professing Christians, not those who do not profess to be Christians. They are the ones telling young Christian women to marry as quickly as possible, so that they will not have a chance to build up their gifts, talents and abilities. I am not against people marrying young, but rather, the agenda of these evangelical Christians in wanting young people, especially young women to marry young. These same people feel very uncomfortable about a woman, no matter how godly she is, being intellectual. They talk about how evil it is for people to value a woman's intellect and abilities over her looks, owing to their fear of women being intellectual. Ironically for these people who claim to be teaching women to be godly, Proverbs 31 says beauty is vain. That refutes their teaching that a woman to be valued for her looks. Do not let these same people scare you by telling you that if you focus on building your gifts, talents and abilities, and let simply God choose and bring you to a spouse, rather than date, that you will became an "old maid". It is a lie stemming from a mindset which devalues women, based on the thinking that a woman should not maximise her gifts, talents and abilities, and can only amount to either a wife and mother only or a career woman only. This manifests in the thinking that a woman can only either be a wife and mother, or have only a vocation/career. Do not believe anyone who tells you that, as they are subtly telling you that you are not a full human being, and dehumanising you. Their dehumanising of you when you refuse to believe their lies that a woman can only be either a wife and mother only, or a career woman only, is owing to their own insecurities and insecurities.
