When I try and craft a deck I pick the cards I want and then I when I hit start to craft pre build it just makes me overwrite it with a starter deck so I do not know how I’m supposed to use any of the cards I have

Thank you so much for this! The tutorial in-game was a bunch of mumbo jumbo but a single line of what you said makes the sense which is "Stop the enemy from advancing". After watching a match of yours that makes way more sense than just "Power" and "Rank" that the game was trying to explain.... I understand this now alot clearier!

Having just whopped all 30 opponents on my first or second go, I have a simple tip. That basic Shinra Security Officer is the best card you have. Make sure there are 2 of those in your deck. 1 peg cards that have the same pattern are equally as valuable. I go with 4 of those in the deck. The next most valuable card is the 1 peg Chocobo. Look for similar pattern cards. I have 4 of those. Then look for cards you can place ontop of existing cards with the same pattern. Also add a couple with similar patterns that can destroy an opponent’s cards. My basic tactic is to win as much territory as possible. Once you win the battle of the territory, whack ‘the most valuable’ card on the table. Your basic 2 peg Shiva card. She drops ice mountains on the board for you to win the match. Shiva will always give you a winning score if you play it after the opponent can not play cards and you’ve won the battle for territory

My main strategy at least in the first 3 duels in Kalm is i go for Territory early on in the first 2 or 3 turns if i can. This limits where the CPU can play and the 2 and 3 drops will take care of themselves

very simple game to play, I win every match on a simple deck just by controlling the board. you want a cactuar and crystalline crab in your deck, and level one cards that open up tiles to the right or above. you in if you can have full control of 3 columns then place the cactuar and crab cards in slots where they will buff your basic cards.

Thanks! This helped a LOT. I dislike cards games so I was a little ticked off been forced to play it. I had no idea what mulligan meant so lots of trial and error with the emphasis on error 😕 But by time I got through it all I thought is was actually okay, not bad at all :)

I just came here to mention what a revelation it was when I discovered you could defer your first turn without an automatic loss, and made the game so much more fair!/easy! I'm sure it's deck dependant and all, buy stealing space is so much the primary objective of the game!

Tip: Just restart if your opening hand is poor. As this video shows, you mostly want cards that cost 1 to play at the start. That allows you to rush the CPU and dominate most the board.

Play early, and Buy the 3 or 4 early card packs!!!! Also make sure you get Titan. The two kids in Crows, and then the 3 Junon matches.. I PUNISHED them. Brothers: 46-0 and 20-0, Michaela: 45-0, Cameron: 46-0, Neil: 32-0. And then balance out your 1s, 2s and 3s. The cards that debuff other cards.. make sure it actually destroys and takes over that slot (Archdragon), instead of just depleting the enemy card and then letting them put another one down (Grenadier).

@@Reno_no.8 OK so this is the thing I learned I actually like the game now the card game that is. The thing that this guy on this video is failing to explain at least if he did I definitely missed it twice in a row.. that I believe is most important to understand first is when you see all those blocks on each card the white is the position your card is in and all the yellow blocks is where the pawns will spawn. And the objective is to get more pawns on the board because more pawns equals more of your cars, which means you win. If you understand that part and keep playing, you'll eventually understand and get better. The summarize when you put your very first card on the board, you you have to look at your card and notice on the top left corner of each card that there's either one two or three pawns you can't put any except a one pawn card because you only have 1 pawn on each spot on the board. If your first card that you put down has a yellow square, see where those yellow squares are placed around the white square, and that's where the additional ponds will be spawned on the board. Honestly, I seriously suck at explaining this but there's another video I had to watch and it really is the reason why I learned how to play in a much easier fashion.

@@damienorr4800 don’t give up it’s a little tricky the biggest thing to know is you just have to take your time and try to play it strategic kind of like chess. You don’t just want to throw cards you want to play smart. Every card has different abilities, power levels etc. when I understood it fully I was hooked. What helped me is I kept facing the crying kid over and over till I could beat him consistently. And I learned from how to play better by watching how my opponents played and watched how they would build there board. Then after that I started wrecking everyone lol.

That absolutely sucked. I finally managed to beat Virgil; just kept restarting until I got lucky. After I went to the card shop and bought Titan and Fat Chocobo I played the owner for the Chocobo & Moogle card and beat him 27-0 on the first try. Having a card like Titan really helps! Anyway, thanks for helping me understand this damn game a little more. I still don’t like it, but I should be able to get past the mandatory Queen’s Blood games now!

I am trying to face the 3rd person Zahira and even if I take the spaces she still takes them back and I am not able to re take them, to me this game doesn’t make any sense at all and I hate it! I wish once you turn the ping your color that’s it, it can no longer be taken by the computer. I was trying to play now so that I already know how to play by the time I forced to play. Try too make sure you make sure your lans your sloths has a higher number paw there are cards that have a special ability too make sure that your opponent cannot make moves in you space the more pawns you have on the board the better it is at winning

There is an item shop in Kalm that sells a couple booster packs to if you want to mix it up. I was RUNNING through QB players until I got to Junon.
