please enjoy, i think this is one of the few covers on youtube which has both soli in it.^^ i made a few mistakes here and there but i guess its quite ok.
I do not own any of this music, it is the sole property of Queens Of The Stone Age and their respective managements.

The second solo is one of the best Josh Homme creations of all time in my opinion.

You are absolutely right. The first one is already pretty good but the second one beats it. It has a more vivid, organic chaotic feel to it, as if the guitar is trying to say something.

This song is so incredible. I hope to be able to play it one day. The main riff is just so tight and then he comes in with the badass 1st solo and then drops it down slowly builds it up again and drops that absolutely insane second solo. Just wow.

This video was posted on the day I saw Queens of the Stone Age in Tivoli Oudegracht, Utrecht, The Netherlands: a small (1000 people) venue that sadly closed the next year. I've been to over 1500 concerts/performances of all kind of bands and that concert is still in my top 5. Tickets were only available for people who had already bought a ticket for the Ziggo Dome concert (17.000 people venue) a few weeks later and it sold out in under 3 minutes.

damn dude this cover is... something else. I don't like watching these shredmeisters just blaze through a Qotsa cover. But yours looks like it took just the right amount of effort and you gave it the right amount of "oompf". Masterful. Great tone too!

Can get close with a Russian Muff on the clean channel in your amp and the tone lowered on the guitar on a humbucker bridge pickup.

Not sure what gear OP used, but I'm getting good results with an Orange RT20 on clean channel, Tube Screamer on low dark distortion on the rhythm, and then fuzz and +1 octave on the lead solo from a Russian Big Muff and DigiTech Whammy.
