One of my favorite songs of Queens....

queens of the stone age has to be one of the most underrated albums known to man! killers riffs and awsome basslines not to mention the killer intro to mexicola, it should be the kind of album that will get talked about for another century!

It was only on their first CD called Queens of the Stone Age. It was also on a Queens of the Stone Age / Kyuss split EP, but was called If Only Everything, and sounds a bit different.

That mic isnt there for nicks fretting in other part of the video you can see it is few feet away from nick, i could either be a spare mic if one goes down or could be there to pick up the crowd because it is being recorded live they would want a mic there to pick up the crowd noise/pick up the whole room sound

Agree. Actually, most of the times, playing tons of notes together only makes the solo worse. If we look up to QotSA 's songs, I can only remeber one solo like that, and it didnt got bad at all, it's Feel Good Hit Of The Summer's solo.

actually sounds a lot like green day's little girl. I thas the same sort of descending baseline, but with differently spaced half- and whole- steps, and, I have to admit better soloing throughout.

Sorta of, the record company that released the album ended up going bankrupt....something along the lines of that, anyhow they never re-release the record and there weren't many of them to begin with...but it's worth finding....oh and it's no where as hard to find as a cheap Kyuss Queens Split EP.
