Made it! Ha! I rode my ‘01 Road King from WA state through OR, ID, MT, UT, NM, to Kingsland, TX back in 2013. I know EXACTLY how you feel on your bike. It’s so free to just check out the beautiful countryside when riding. I LOVED Utah and New Mexico. So much so that I wanna ride there again. Love your videos, QueenSit. Hello My Queen🙋‍♀️ WHAT A Great Experience that you were invited to share with all the BIKER FAMILY❤. I had the chance to travel thru New Mexico in 2001, and I fell in Love. We also planned on moving from California to there. We went in May, and there was still snow in the Chama Pass in northern New Mexico. Taos, was nice. Some tress out there had some leaves that were falling that looked like snow. So awesome and saying..What the Heck. Did you see the house that were built under ground? And the food was great. Made it. It gets colder the higher elevations as you go up the mountain. Same reason you couldn't breathe, less air. Hope your helmet survived, that looked like a delamination level event! Glad you had a great trip, thanks for sharing!

I don't like flying either so I usually stay up all night so I can sleep on the plane. This brought back memories for me. I used to ride 2008 Ultra Classic and a 1999 BMW 1200 KT. All that ended when an eighteen wheeler cut across three lanes and ran me off 95 south breaking me up. But the doctors put me back together and it's all good now but, the wife won't let me ride anymore. So I'll just enjoy videos like yours. Thanks for taking me along. Ps; New Mexico is a nice place to ride.I rode to New Mexico from the Bronx, NY a few years ago with my club Buffalo Soldiers - West Point NY Chapter. Ride safe.

I absolutely hate flying and I've been all overseas!!! If it's a short trip, I make sure I have movies that would last the whole trip. If it's a long flight I take a sleeping pill! I was station at White Sands (outside of Las Cruces) several years ago. Can't wait to meet you one day!!! OH YEAH MADE IT!!!

I’m happy for you. Thanks for sharing, awesome footage. Sorry about your helmet. It’s Whataburger for me! I think the temperature changes as you go up has a lot to do with the altitude. As you noticed, breathing in high altitude is different. Glad you didn’t have a bad case of HAPE, it’s an acronym for a breathing disorder at high altitudes. You guys were probably in the southern portion of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains near Wheeler Peak. The altitude is considerably high in that area. I can see you really enjoyed the western film set area! You rock!
