We continue our Queensland caravan road trip! In episode two, we head to Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach to feed dolphins and explore some of Queensland’s most beautiful spots… including a part of the region we’ve never been able to visit before. Can’t believe we finally got to tick this one off our bucket list! Here’s a look at what we got up to and how we settled into driving, reversing and setting up a caravan. In episode three, next week, we’ll be doing an incredible experience you can only have in TWO places on earth! WOW!

Wow! You guys are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful area. 😍 I’m living vicariously through you guys. This caravan trip you’re doing is something my family and I would really enjoy. It's just so beautiful... a really special spot. I'm so happy we finally got to do the beach drive and see it from a different perspective - well worth the wait!! I loved Farmers Union Iced Coffee in cartons. Here in UK I discovered Kenco iced coffee satchets, you just add water stir and add ice cubes. So looking forward to summer.

How lucky you are for living there! I remember all of the roads you travelled and I absolutely loved Rainbow Beach when I went on a big 3month roadtrip through Australia. Actually feeling quite sad right now because I really wanted to go back last year. Would love to see more of your videos and hopefully one day soon I can go back again!

When we used to holiday at Rainbow there was not even a TAP there to get water, we had to drive to Tin Can to get drinking water...Dad always got hot ice from butter factory in Gympie before we left home.....we collected water coming down from the sand hills for baths and washing up....We used to get excited if we saw another car on the beach, many times we never saw another car all day ...not like now 😂😂😂

@@travelforphoebe ...it surely has 👍...the road down to the beach is now a walking path down...I remember the old school house being moved there as surf lifesaving house ...the road down was to the left of that, on the side of cliff...humm memories but great fun times.

I love being surrounded by animals. Aussie is the perfect place for this. The feeding at Tin Can Bay is not too crowded, seems perfect. This might be a question for Matt: is this the first time you’re using 5.1 surround sound? I was surprised (read I sat up straight) at 6:22 when sound came from my left speaker 😅. Citrus dressing is the best Phoebe 👌. Oh regarding your previous comment Phoebe: I eat gluten free because of my irritable bowel syndrome, which tends to react on stress, wheat and not enough sleep. I love offroad driving, the ultimate feeling of freedom. The coloured sands and the Carlo Sand Blow reminds me of the Henty Dunes in Tassie. They’re so gorgeous and so is this spot. Smart to stay shallow in uncontrolled sea, I’ve see too many episodes of Bondi Rescue where it goes wrong, even in patrolled sea. Train travel is so amazing, I highly recommend you take the train Bergen to Oslo in Norway if you ever get the chance. Your train trip looks so gorgeous too 😍. I’ve heard so much about Noosa but I’ve never actually seen something of Noosa. Curious what Noosa is about. Thanks for sharing this week and hopefully I can revisit Aussie in 2022!
