Charlie Hopkinson is a comedic impressionist, impersonator, voice guy, whatever you want to call it who specialises in voices from current television shows and films. His standup is a character act about a retired maths teacher, his standup set includes impressions of Sir David Attenborough, Robin Williams, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Peaky Blinders, Tommy and Arthur Shelby and Gandalf from Lord of the Rings.
Always looking to update my roster I look to try out subscriber suggested impressions in the impressions challenge series before honing the best ones. Recently I have added Peaky Blinders and Marvel / Avengers characters to my arsenal!

Dubs - Comedic dubs of iconic scenes with new dialogue, (My Peaky Blinders and Lord of The Rings dubs have grossed over 6 million views on Facebook)

I started learning impressions in 2012, at the age of 20. You can follow my full impressions journey in my new ‘How to do impressions’ tutorial series
After graduating from the University of Warwick in the summer 2013 he took 4 months out to concentrate on KZfaq videos full time, including producing his most viewed video to date ‘Morgan Freeman and 40 other impressions’ with just over 12 million views. This foray into being a ‘full time KZfaqr’ was cut short as he went travelling for 3 months before starting a 2 year teaching Graduate scheme with Charity ‘Teach First’.
While teaching he has performed in and narrated the 4 episode series ‘Lookalikes’ as Morgan Freeman. The show and the narration received a positive reception. The show aired on Channel 4 during the prime time slot of Friday 10pm for three weeks. It is now currently available on Netflix. Charlie also performed with other well known impressionists for an unaired pilot.
Charlie has worked for several prominent brands in relation to their products, including google and formula 1.
Since the summer of 2016 Charlie has once again dived into the world of KZfaq, for the first time producing content on a weekly basis. He is also focusing on live performance; he has performed in live venues a total of 3 times to date.

No rivalry just that like all characters since surviving lightsaber wounds, not Han Solo, means there is no longer emotional weight in lightsabre battles as you know it comes down to plot armour no matter what happens. Same thing happens in comics and games and same effect occurs .. people stop emotionally caring.

I laughed way too hard at that LOTR reference with Sabine. Mostly because it was actually pretty apt. Also Qui’s saltiness with Sabine surviving a light saber wound is kinda hilarious. It didn't make much sense to have a Kenobi series to many fans. Most of them liked it, even though it fell short in some aspects. It seemed that more wanted a Boba Fett series, but that fell even shorter in more elements and expectations. Now, we have Ahsoka, and speculations are higher than expectations, which is good. As Claudia Gray said, _The only problem with writing Leia is that everyone knows Leia. The great thing about writing Leia is that everyone knows Leia._ She does it so well! Allowing your speculation to become an expectation is damaging to your experience. Hoping to see a cameo is conjectural. If Dave found a place for Kanan to appear in a flashback, a memory, or even to teach his son something, I would love to see it.

Charlie you're the best. I can't tell you enough how much of a joy it is to watch your videos which gives as much of that warm SW feeling inside as any of the early pre-Disney SW films have - except for Ahsoka ep 4, that was awesome!

Love the point made halfway through about how stories are supposed to be the times exciting and unlikely things happened and had a big impact. It frustrates me when people pick apart story events for being unlikely. Like what do you want, the tale of Joe who went to work and came home? Stories are about the times in a universe's history when a Thing happened. I just appreciate someone explaining it better than I could

Yo, that line in there about how there has to be a bunch of good stories we never hear about because the antagonist is just a sitting duck is such a sleeper good point. I wonder how many amazing things have happened that we never hear about because there isn't much suspense or drama in them. An amazing victory is boiled down to "And they won with little resistance" when in reality there were impressive things happening.
