Hiking Mt. Talamitam and staying overnight. This is a vlog showing our Mount Talamitam hike in 2022. We started at Sitio Kayrilaw as our jump-off point and exits at the Bayabasan Trail. Mt. Talamitam elevation is just 630 MASL so it is just a minor climb - hours to summit is just 1 to 1.5 hours. If you are a seasoned mountain climber and pro on trekking, this mountain might bore you - but it is really good for a quick bonding with friends and meeting new mountaineers. Mt. Talamitam tour guide is now necessary / required. How to get to Mt.. talamitam is easy since it is just in Sitio Bayabasan, Barangay Aga, Nasugbu, Batangas or Barangay Kayrilaw which is just a few hours away from Metro Manila. This mountain is good for dayhike but Mt. Talamitam camping can also be fun. Mt. Talamitam trail is really good for beginners. However, it can be a very tiresome hike if the sun is already high in the middle of the day because there are few trees to offer shade and for the most part the trail is exposed allowing hikers and mountaineers to see the vast distance it covers.
