I bought one for my x749 and absolutely love it. Install was easy and spot-on. I was sad to take it off to put on the snowblower, but rest assured, come spring, I’m putting it right back on!

Great video let the haters hate.. I just received my grapple from Mark at innovation tractor attachments Thursday! Did a mock assembly but still have to move the bottom cylinder. Hoping the grapple goes lower after I do that.

Usually lawn and garden tractor attachments are useless but this one is actually pretty great.

Thanks for this video. I was wondering what had be relocated to get the cylinder to operate the grapple and your video was clear on what had to happen. I just got a quick hitch for my JD 425 yesterday and will be ordering my grapple from Innovative soon.

I love the option. I personally have a sub compact but if u already own an X series this is a solid option for what u currently own. No reason to go out and buy another tractor just to take care of the “every now and then stuff”. I do question how much stress that places on that front drivetrain. But John Deere sells this ready from the dealership with a front hitch and snow blower package so if it can handle that weight and stress then this should be fine for the average homeowners occasional use.

So many uses, I have exposed roots in my woods, I put the corner of the bottom jaw under the root and it pulls the root right out.

that thing is amazing and makes a small tractor more useful , although you should turn cylinder around so you don't bash your hose fittings. But a really good video!!

Chain sawing and moving trees with a John Deere is man's work. Digging shit up in the woods with a grapple is more fun than sex... As long as I can still move I'll do it!

If Toro had added a little more to their 5xi garden tractors there still might be a Toro garden tractor on the market today. They should have had a locking rear differential and had optional a rear 3pt hitch and remote hydraulics. But I have 520xi, 522xi and 520Lxi and I don’t have any major complaints about them.

I have a x738 and I have been cleaning up a 12 acre woods. I have been doing most of it by hand. I was thinking that a x738 would be too small for stuff like this. I was looking at a smaller compact tractor and loader.

Is the quick hitch something I can purchase at the dealership at the time of purchase or is this an after market product? I’m interested in an x758 with that grapple. I own rental properties and need something to cut all the properties and clean up. That grapple looks like a god send for my uses. I currently sent a troy bilt mower in for service, but I might just sell that and get this!

Nice demo of the grapple.. but when chainsawing, let the saw stay revved up and stop trying to force it into the cut.

Is this the only attachment made by Innovative tractor attachments?

Does that thing have a rear PTO? I think I would have spent my 10-15k on a compact tractor that can do that plus much much more.

Yeah, absolutely what is the poorest visual instructions of how to attach that Grapple. Your body was in front of the entire part where you were hooking the hydraulics together.
