OMEGA first introduced the Seamaster 300 in 1957 - designed especially for divers and professionals who worked underwater. More than 60 years later, the timepiece has been completely upgraded with an enhanced form that is ready for a new generation of adventurers.
This 41 mm stainless steel model includes a black dial and a black oxalic anodized aluminium bezel with its diving scale filled with vintage Super-LumiNova. The recessed hour markers and open numerals feature Super-LumiNova, which is also present on the rhodium-plated hands.
Presented on an ergonomic stainless steel bracelet, this timepiece includes a transparent sapphire crystal caseback, enabling a clear view of the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8912.

I have one after trying it on several times. I bought one that was 6 months old and under warranty (5 years from Omega) for $4300. And I love it. No Helium wart. I wear mine on an old style tropical strap. ( crammed a 22 into the 21 space ). Low bling. High functioning and no water worries. My only worry was black or blue? I went black as I have a blue Luminor. Enjoy.

No it's aluminium that has gone through a hardening process

This may be apples that look like Oranges, but I get the same vibes from my Invicta 1953! I know the Omega is a superior Timepiece,but I can't come anywhere near affording it?

Hi David, if you are looking in a price range under 1k for example -- I highly recommend checking out Seiko. The quality for what you pay is real, and the designs are not homages. It's all about what you like though!

If you like the look but want to spend about a third of the price, look at the Rado Captain Cook (Brown dial, 41mm). It doesn't match the Omega in finishing but it is gorgeous, has its own design cues and is well built. I own both that and the Seamaster 300 Heritage.

It’s not legible enough and they had to put that fake patina everywhere even on the bezel. Tell me how having fake patina on the bezel makes and historical sense?

I think the better way of looking at it instead of calling it fake patina would be muted color. Just like if a car company was doing a vintage remake they wouldn't use vibrant colors that don't really represent the vintage vibe. Also the Seamaster of that time used tritium which was closer to that color anyways.

The speedmaster pro is the only one that still looks good and that’s only because they haven’t touched the design since they created it so there is no room to screw it up, but that watch isn’t really a good every day option because it has such little WR that you’re always at risk of destroying it

😂😂😂😂 Oh my god. That’s got to be the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. You can’t rely on the longevity of this watch because of its lack of WATER RESISTANCE!!? Fortunately the 300 has over half a century’s horological prominence which proves you are wrong. This is just too much 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦🏻

@@IrishScribbler I said the SPEEDMASTER PROFESSIONAL. This watch is close to the looks of the 57 variant but is ruined with a non historically accurate sandwich dial and fake patina the bezel that makes zero historical sense. The sandwich dial mixed with the fake patina makes this watch not very legible in a lot of lighting situations which completely defeats the purpose of a dive watch but is something omega loves to overdue on their heritage inspired pieces. They did some things better and more historically accurate on this watch like the aluminum insert, maxi markers, and polished outer links, but it still misses the mark
