Can you say why it's a lidded jar? So far it's a closed form. Do you needle tool the lid off? It's nicely done but it's stillness one piece

I should have put a finished photo at the end to be clear, sorry about that. I do have the finished piece in the background of the video, one jar is open and one is closed.
