I got these on sale for $4.99/lb, three onions for $1, and six multicolored bell peppers for $2. I think it will all go fantastic together but I don't know how to cook this meat. Great video and thanks for covering this cheaper cut!

I tried it and the ribs weren't tender at all. Does that mean I needed to cook them longer or cooked them too long?

They usually need to be cooked longer but in a covered pan, in a liquid like beef broth. I usually cook them in the oven at 325F for 3 hours . A crock pot could also tenderize them too.

hour and a half at 300 and the meat is only to 140, Denver takes longer to cook, added 10 more minutes to see and keep adding 10 'til we get the 170 range. these better be good, I'm using Montreal Grille Seasoning.

The meat you cooked is a boneless chuck roast cut into strips. Sad to say they are NOT short ribs. yummy though I'm sure.

I am sure it tasted good, but I couldn't tell if it didn't show us how the meat was done inside, but just judge by the outside, it looked dry.

@@monkeycolada8998 250 for 30 min then I crank it up to 350 for last 15. Shut off and if it needs longer let the carry over heat for another 10. But usually they're fall off the bone and done exactly 45 min

After 11/2 hrs ribs were 145 degrees instead of suggested 175. Even at 145 we’re much more like jerky. Flavor was good though. I will try other recipes from this site.

Don't do this to your food. There's a reason he doesn't show himself cutting the meat, and its the same reason he takes a very small bite: its rubbery and inedible.
