If your rifle is heavier than a chainsaw its likely a match hunting rifle or overkill AR build.

These are descriptions without fluting Ultra HBAR or bull barrels dont warp almost barely heat up and also can take a while to cool down but you can fire AS MUCH AS YOU WANT very good for accuracy and competition since it getting hot really dosent mater much haha HBAR barrels are like tier 4 as i think about it there what i use a lot and there heavy but not super ridiculously thick and have a good heat to shooting ratio they only get so hot and still hold zero might have 1 or 2 flyers depends on the brand. medium contour which i dont see all that much is the best or average 4 or 5 mag dumps then its hot and will go from ..lets say your rifle is 1 or .5 moa... then it will be 1 or 1.5 moa after CONSTANT shooting possibly just examples could be wrong have to test yourself and all of these examples i mean longer than 2 or 300 yards or at those distances. light weight or the old A2 Gov't profile or the M203 accommodating M4 profile are the same type made for lighter weight for soldiers or marines to carry they have the m203 cut if its an M4 contour or not if its the gov't model these are lighter and give you the more oh cool plastic and lightweight gun yay but loose accuracy at 350 or 400 in my cases if there true lightweights. anything closer probably not juts due to heat and warping also lighter less metal to heat up...less to cool as well assuming its not 90 or 100 degree weather then there is the...Feather weight..idk why anyone would want this ..this is like a #1 or #2 contour barrel from a match barrel maker...1 or 2 shots and your PROBABLY not doing much more accuracy shooting or sighting in that day until 9 or 10 minutes later it cools haha.

@Louvre DeWitt Bukater Neuilly EnLay idk I don't touch m1a rifles they have a tendency to move and walk because of the gas system they don't hold good groups look up 9 hole reviews video on it, they kinda suck compared to an ar10 or another system I don't use them because of that and there finicky with ammo accuracy wise sorry idk but that's a little more than my hbar barrel 20in Grendel so idk

Yes, faster cooler but drift will set in faster. At least idea we were told it can be quite accurate slow shots or spam fired and still be within human size target 100 yards or so.

Anything marketed as HBAR or Heavy Profile. Even the new SOCOM profile barrels by Colt and FN with the M203 slats are legally considered HBAR. They are expensive however. Some say any thickness of .750 behind the gas block is adequate. Could even have it marked HBAR if it was on the fence
