Hi hector wanted to ask in regards to what is the best practice for using vendors for employees? this is something not mentioned on the video

I dont know what you mean. Vendors and Employees are two different things

@@HectorGarciaCPA in the video, you show a demo of integrating Expensify to QBO, and to be more specific, you show the export of expense reports (employee reimbursements). My question will be, what is the best practice for reporting reimbursements for employees. 1. Refer to an employee as a vendor in QBO - means to create a vendor for each employee and create a bill for each expense and pay it by bill pay 2. refer to an employee as an employee in QBO - means to create an employee for each employee and create an expense Thanks, Nir

Hector it doesn't say "get app now" for me. It only says "learn more". However if I try other apps I am able to "get app now". Any advise would be appreciated.

Hi Hector, Is it possible to enter an expense against a Cost of Good Sold account and tag it to a subcustomer and will clicking on billable make it show up as billable on the QBO side?

Do you have a video on how to record expense for an employee (owner) in Enterprise? I make bills for my contractors/consultants but do not know how to create a bill for an employee? Basically, can I create a bill for employees?

Hi Hector, is there a way to upload expenses with different dates using excel spread sheet directly to QBO, can expensify do this? I just want to download cc statement in csv format add the expense account next to each line and upload the csv to QBO and have the different dates expenses created in QBO. Thanks

Does this require accounts titled "reimburseable"? What is the process for an employee who was paid cash in advance for a company project, and then they submit receipts through Expensify-best way to reconcile?

@@HectorGarciaCPA We transferred funds to an employee to cover transportation costs for a company project(COS) which is in QB. He recently submitted the receipts totaling that amount through Expensify. How should these receipts be matched to the initial payment made to him?

you should 1st record it as an asset when you made the advance. Once he turns in the receipts you make an adjustment, so that you credit the asset and debit the expense.
