This video is about our really normal cabin life here in Finnish Lapland. Clips all the way from October when winter was in baby boots until the beginning of December. Just a really normal, quiet life in our wooden cabin in the middle of a forest by the river.

You have a beautiful life that I SO, SO envy! You have what I yearn, ache for - COLD weather and complete quiet! I am suffering a lot due to extreme heat that is practically year round due to climate change, which is relentless and no air condtioning. On top of that I am surrounded by noisy neighbors, a bunch of savages! No peace or comfort whatsoever! I often cry myself to sleep because of all this. Then I saw your gorgeous video and saw that what I dream about DOES EXIST! I wish I had your life in your beautiful country. Enjoy it and keep making beautiful videos! 🙂🦋🌷⚘🌬☃️🌬🌬🙂🦋

I live in one of those loud, noisy, hectic places and I sometimes get desperate for a little bit of silence, some quiet to help balance it all out. Your videos provides that quiet escape for me. Thank you for sharing.

Aww you have beautiful dogs. My dog does the same thing when I leave. He’s 15 now a yorkie poo looks more poodle. I feel bad leaving him now he’s getting early older. He’s blind and hard hearing. I made sure he has a place on the floor on a nice cushion and blanket until I come home. But, still I feel bad leaving him. Going to church and grocery takes time :( I just found you on KZfaq. I love, love your videos. Findland is so beautiful. God bless and I love your new home.

We took our grandchildren to Lapland some years ago. It was December and very, very cold. We all loved it and I can still remember the smell and taste of this extreme cold, especially in the evening. Beautiful.

Nature is beautiful. I am from India and I think it's hard for us to live there as the climate is completely different. Our body adopted here's environment.

Why do you leave the radio on for the dogs? You wouldn’t be noisy when you are home ? Would you? They probably want to get away from the noise. no offence, only kidding. Beautiful little family you have created.

Hieno video. Ainut juttu on, että lintujenruokintamökki on todellinen uhka linnuille. Kun linnut pääsevät ulostamaan siemeniin, niin mm. salmonella pääsee leviämään linnusta toiseen. On olemassa myös nättejä ruokinta-automaatteja jossa ei näin käy.

Hi, I’m from Singapore, an island nation in Asia - warm, humid and densely populated city state. I work as construction manager pulling 44-hrs a week. Amazing that you can isolate yourself in small cabin. Your place like a wonder land, might one day visit Finland in winter to see the frozen landscape.
