In my new Video tutorial Bridgit’s Quilling Daisies
Link: • Quilling Daisies / Dai...
I will show you step by step how to make these beautiful flowers in different sizes and colors.
I will also show a new glue-mixture which you can make very easy yourself. This glue-mixture
is just great for shaping 3D Quilling fine Art works like flowers and can be sometimes replaced with the UHU glue. The glue is first very wet while applying on the shapes, then it changes into a rubber consistent or has a feeling like a hard polymer clay. To shape the petals you will have to wait until its more dry and does not have this rubber feeling. Hours later when it’s completely dry the petals will be very hard but will keep the natural paper look. This tip to make this glue-mixture I have got from my FB friend Carla, I have tried it the very first time for this daisy flowers and was just amazed about the result. I am very grateful for this tip while it is a very good to use for 3D quilling. Thanks a lot dear Carla.
If you have any questions to the videos please feel free to write me a comment.
PLEASE VISITE MY HOMEPAGE

Music:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
New glue-mixture:
You need normal white glue, water and alcohol 70% vol.
The alcohol with such high percent you have to buy special. Here in Switzerland we only get it from the pharmacy without recipe and it’s called ethanol. I do not know in your country where you can get it, you will have to ask (family members, friends etc.)
Then you mix:
1/2 part of alcohol 70% vol. (minimum, can be also more)
1 part of water
2 parts of white glue
For example:
10ml of alcohol 70% vol. (minimum, can be also more)
20ml of water
40ml of white glue
If you have any questions, just write me a comment, thanks.

Right here is the reason why hand-made crafts should be sold for a lot of money with no hard feelings. The time and effort put into creating these masterpieces are amazing!

Thanks dear Juneann Irene I agree with you in this point, that all crafts and works each of us do, is very valuable. But value does not always have to be equated with money, for me personaly, is this moment value where I could get in touch with you, where I could inspire you with some new ideas, where I hope you liked my tutorial and had much joy in this moment to discover new ideas and feel inspired. This moments in life, where I can share with you and lots of other people my works of inspiration, compensates all my time and works I have invested in it. Thanks for watching my video tutorial and for getting intouch with me. Have a nice day

If you like you can also join the Forum: facebook.com/groups/quilling.shapes.forum/ but at the moment until autumn 2017 this group is not active. But in Autumn 2017 there will be lots of new activities also workshops and other lovely projects or events.

Thanks a lot dear stoneymaine47, its just about practice, if you can do it with 3mm than with 2mm strips, than you are not far away to do it with 1mm. When you once started, you will love it and want to only work with 1mm strips. So it was with me :-)
