Announcing the Standing Tall Quilt Along starting 22nd June, 2024!
Sarah ‪@SoSarahSewed‬ and I were both really drawn to the Standing Tall Quilt from Cedar Quilt Co when it was released last year. After we realized that it appeared on both of our goals for 2024, we decided to join forces to encourage ourselves and the entire community to make it together. We created a timeframe for finishing each stage of the process and would love for some of you fabulous sewing friends to join us. Isn't everything more fun when you've got someone to keep you company?
The timeline is a suggestion, so don't worry if you fall behind (I'm thoroughly expecting to be there myself, at points!). If you've made quilts before or find yourself working quickly, you can jump ahead of our suggested timeline and share your progress as you go.
For the collaboration, Sarah and I will be checking in with each other on our KZfaq channels. If you want to join us, we would love to share photos of the community's progress, to keep all of us motivated.
If you're interested in taking part in this quilt along, share this video, our IG post or a photo of the "I'm In" graphic to let everyone know that you're joining in and to encourage others to do the same.

29 June: Cut your pieces
6 July: 4 patch units (half)
13 July: 4 patch units (half)
20 July: Assemble the rows
27 July: Finish your quilt top
27 August: Finished quilt reveal date
