Quinetic Dual channel Wireless switches - How to use these to save space and save time on Install

SORRY ABOUT THE RECORDING ASPECT, WAS DONE ON PHONE AND NOT THINKING....lol
This is a little vid I put together to show how I have used these dual channel units from Quinetic Wireless range To save space & Time on the installation.
I highly recommend these units for rewires and multi systems (QU R323).
Another great thing about the use of these is for the clients to not have to worry about the damage and repairs required on cable drops down the wall to light switch points, Check out My other videos for how all this works and looks great for your homes!

Lol. This spam does my head in, I’ve already deleted it once...... Anyway TLC is the only supplier of quinetic, A guy called Tim knows all about it and is very helpful.

What enclosure did you use, is it a Wiska, if so what version¿ Cheers for video, very helpful.

No. wiska doesn’t have them large enough. I used a 150 x 200 I think it was that anyway. This was from Rexel. I use wiska for exterior works but with only 1 in at a time.

I’ve got a customer that wants to use a quinetic switch to operate garden lights from his shed offfice, but he also wants to be able to switch them with his existing ‘old fashioned’ switch in his kitchen.. does anyone know if this is possible? Tried contacting quinetic directly but no joy.

Hi, Yes you can use a normal switch to override it same as you would connect up a Pir sensor, but when kitchen switch is on nothing else would work. I personally would talk him into a grid switch unit which you can get in different colours to match what else he has as you will need to get a cable to the receiver aswell if that is not going to be in the house it could be a real pain.

It's a shame the Dual Channel doesn't do dimming, had to buy two separate Quinetic QURW01 receivers for two dimmable wall lights.

Yes, you can program upto 10 switches per channel for 2 or 3 way switching in halls and on stairs etc. So each unit is 2 channels which will switch 2 lots of lighting. Hope this helps.
