In this video, we go over how to import images into Mixer and optimize them to be used as heightmaps, alphamaps, colormaps, and more. We will combine each of these image types into one single image and cover the workflow used to generate the most realistic effects.
We cover three categories of images used to create a single texture:
1) Organic Image
2) Composed Image
3) Referenced Image(s)

tip. if you need AO maps, but you are using a version of mixer that doesn't allow you to import custom ones on Solid Layers. enable the base layer, disable all imagetypes but AO on base layer, and there you'll be able to import a custom map. BTW you need a ready made AO map, using a grayscale diffuse will give you awful results.

Diffuse creation? Or taking the diffuse map and learning how to create an Albedo Map from it with all lighting information taken out?

Dose Mixer have some option to work with tiles, like blending seems?

There is an icon in the top bar that will display the surface in a repeating tile example in the viewport. From here, you can work on adjusting "how" it is tiled. I wouldn't say there is any "one" way of blending the seams other than adjusting the filter stack settings but the tile view does show you how it will tile.

OBS Studio and now I basically use the "New" version of NVIDIA's codec and their recommended 4K recording settings on their website. This video was actually recorded on a 2013 Macbook Pro and used CPU based encoding...of which I don't use anymore.

Hm. I made 2 solids, added a Image to height thing, added my image and increased the Threshold.. but absolutely nothing happens.. :/ Can't continue.. Been trying to solve this for over half an hour already

Because there isn't any normal map , displacement won't work with normal map

Do you have the current version of Quixel Mixer (2020), that was just released a few days ago? It's only possible in that version. There you have to click on Model settings, Type and change that from plane to Custom Mesh. Then load your mesh in the next window and there you go.
