This is encapsulated in their motto ‘Semper Fidelis’, (Latin for “Always Faithful”).

Once a Marine always a Marine! My dad fought inThe battle of Palilue and on Okinawa then became a China marine . I was was taught to always celebrate the Marine Corps birthday and always stand to attention for the Marine Corp hymn --Simper Fi to my Marine Corp dad!!!
