Beautiful. I finished reciting Holy Quran at 7 yrs of age and since age 10 have recited at least once a year, but the first time in my life , I am grasping the summary of the Surahs and I hope to read Ayat by Ayat translation. Thank you Yasir Qadhi and Sheikh Sajjad and Allah bless you abundantly in this world and hereafter. Yasir Qadhi, I have several worries but the most stressful is the constant betrayal and jealousy of my siblings. I am the oldest of 9 siblings and have done everything to help them. Please audience, do dua for me.

Beautiful verses...as you recite..you visualize the scene before Hell..assembled before their Lord....sall carry their burdensome their back.....as depicted through the Quranic elaqant words He alone has the keys to the unseen Allah declared upon Himself mercy....most kind most merciful.

So beautiful....Consecutive stream of very elaqant verses on God's power. Afterwards, other verses condemns those who doubt the existence of Allah. This is the follow order manifested in this sorah. The first chapter in Quran Allah descended with the beginning of Alhamdulillah among total five sorah..same beginning...Allah is explaining afterwards why we should thank Him.

This sorah when you recited, you sensed the love for Allah and you see His Might and Magnificence displayed in the universe. This sorah has a point of distinction compared to previous ones...first to be revealed in Makkah and is the only chapter descended as whole in one go Main purpose is to call on people to believe in the oneness of God through highlighting Allah infinite power and magnificence.

The story of profet Ibrahim..perfectly in place....talking about Allah power and magnificence....challenging his people...again serving the main purpose of this sorah They didn't give the proper esteam to Allah...monotheism and Allah Might, Magnificence.....infinite knowledge for whose eyes , mind, and heart can perceive.

We can see many verses of this sorah start with.. هو (He)..and قل (say)again serving the main purpose of the sorah and what to say in the debates of disbelievers. May be this why Allah descended this sorah as whole at one time to support the believers 2 verses following each other..Say to whoms belongs what is in heavens and what on the earth.... .and whatever reposed in the night and in the day, the first talks about Allah is in control of all places in the universe and the second talks about Allah is in control of the time...how great.

The English translation should be in larger fonts. We sometimes forget that majority are English speakers here and elsewhere. Quran is a good news and a reminder to Mankind ,it is NOT just for Muslims or Arab speakers or who think it is " immense sawaab" to hear the beautiful sounds of Quranic verses. Quran has GEMS in it as, how to live a good life , so anybody who listens , understands, and wants to live a good life must be able to pick up those GEMS or Tools for Good living and having a happy life. So please increase the fonts size of English. so that it is clearly and easily read to be understood and acted upon, so that we all bring ourself from darkness into light insallah.

Here...Allah addresses who don't believe and is wondering how people could ascribe partners to Him with all what you see. Allah also addresses who has the belief but never become applied by obeying Allah orders...explain the oneness in the thoughts and act.
