Personally, I don't believe it's possible to detect the voice of the Prophet (sas), or anyone from the past. It's not realistic to assume that ancient sound can be detected in the way that light from distant stars and galaxies. presumably through some residual effect related to quantum entanglement. The actual sound frequencies are lost; the laws of entropy mandate this. The government of France has no credibility in matters of Deen al Islam. And if they merely imitate the voice of the Prophet (sas), and claim that it is authentic, it's a lie. Muslims must be clear and critical thinkers, and not allow emotionalism (or stupidity) to to dictate our beliefs.

To be honest, I don't completely abandoned the idea of creating back the ancient sounds but I am sure that Allah won't allow mankind to extend their power to such level. So I don't believe that the voice they are trying to make is our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) 's voice. Even if it is very melodious.
