Wayne Blair is an indigenous writer, actor and director. He grew up in Rockhampton, and excelled at sport in high school. His first degree was a Bachelor of Business at QUT, but in 1997 he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Acting).
Wayne is internationally recognised for his role with the award winning film, The Sapphires. He was named the winner of QUT's Outstanding Alumni Award for the Creative Industries Faculty in 2014.
