I mean it's a little weirder than that. The bike is initially stationary when they put the stick through the wheel. Ok, no biggie. Then they take a solid look at it and think "you know, i'd really like a ride now" and then get on and try, and fall off. Like, opposing the construction, fine. But then why buy electric after?

Regarding the guy who broke up with his girlfriend when they got naked: Variations of body parts are normal, but you won't see them while watching adult videos. You CAN see them if you order books about lesbian s**, as many have illustrations on what average women look like, both above and below. A number of years ago, there was a popular art installation that traveled to many cities in the US. It was called Dinner Party, and it was ceramic plates with models of women's vulv*s (trying not to get reported for content), and the variations were endless. Look it up. Anyway, my point is that lots of men have never really seen a woman up close below the waist, and pretty much don't know where things are, so I encourage education away from adult videos. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

Exactly! Like, it’s good for viewers to know that many adult video stars get surgery to cut off parts of their bits (that he’s likely referencing when saying “an outie”) because it makes for easier camera shots, so they aren’t so surprised when they see average people.

For story 4, I mean I'm pretty asexual myself, one of the misconceptions a lot of people tend to have is that they think asexual = repulsed by/not interested in sex but really it's more like just a lack of sexual attraction. Being repulsed by sex and being sexually attracted to someone are two different things. Someone can experience sexual attraction but the thought of sex with this specific person is gross to them. Alternatively, someone can be asexual and be completely okay with sex. Just thought I'd say that cuz I know most people who know about asexuality but aren't asexual themselves tend to think that that's what it means but it doesn't. I would think that it is indeed more likely that he really has unfair expectations cuz of too much porn. A lot of people see what pornstars do and then they have these weird expectations for what sex is and what the human body should look like. Because of that, so many people tend to think a penis or a vagina should look a very specific way and then get shocked when other people just, yknow, exist. I know there's been this weird trend where people have even felt pressured/been pressured to get an op done on their labia to fit a standard some people have from watching porn and idk it's just all weird. I think Rslash might be forgetting that not everyone who watches porn specifically watches PH and also specifically watches amateurs lol.

My husband is atheist, he was rasied in a very relaxed church of england Christian family, i was raised Catholic but found asatru (viking faith) in my teens which also includes a lot of wicca as im also völva (viking seeress/wiccan) and NOT ONCE has my husband tried to dictate my faith! He doesnt understand it but he 100% respects it, has ON HIS OWN built me a shrine/worship place in our garden and is more than happy to have one in the house. When we first got together the compromise was "you can have 1 in the house but not in our bedroom or in a public space like the living room or kitchen" now, 5 years later, hes all "where do you want your alter?" I could NEVER imagine my hubby prevent me from having my faith or destroying my stuff!! He was also the one to suggest having a handfasting on our honeymoon and including parts of my faith in our wedding! We are having an equal amount of norwegian traditions (im Norwegian) and English customs especially as we live in the uk. Op 1 is SO creepy!!

Hi! Asexual here. I think there might be something else at play in that story. The only aces I know who *might* feel physically ill at the sight of genitalia are the ones who are sex-repulsed, and even then most of the time they know it long before they'd consensually end up in a situation like that. For me personally the sight of someone's bits is completely neutral. So I'm not saying it isn't possible that OP is asexual and just super repulsed by the sight of labia, but I want to be clear that this isn't a standard thing for all aces.
@leefi1
@leefi1 Ай бұрын
That's how I feel about women, I never think of them as actually having sex or being sexual, they are neutral to me. In 74 years I've never thought of any woman as being sexually attractive. I like women, I have many women friends, but it never occurs to me that they have a sexual identity. I have no cultural references. The last time that I was anywhere near a woman's vagina was at my birth. And I came out two weeks late and feet first with my eyes closed!

She doesn’t even have to do the cursing herself I’ve heard Romanian Witches will charge a small fee and inflict powerful curses on behalf of those that pay them. That would literally be the worst case scenario because the Romanian Witches don’t give an f. They’re more than willing to accept any repercussions from the curses they cast. They’re so feared in their country that even their own government gives them a wide berth and generally avoids messing with them. That little nicety routine is just to lull him into a false sense of security before she unleashes a terrible storm upon his very existence. Then one day he ghosts me, I try to find out why, and he's told all our mutual friends to ghost me, and someone finally tells me why and it's the stupidest, pettiest reason ever, but also ultra specific so it'd be like doxxing us if I reveal it. But the strangest thing is he referred to our friendship as "parasocial." Like... that's not what that word means. We've spoken to each other, so many times over the years... a parasocial relationship is like the one between us and Rslash. We feel like we know him, because he talks _at_ us every day, and shares _some_ details of his life, and I've heard tales, -but never actually seen of him answering people in the replies;- but none of us actually _know_ him. _That_ is a parasocial relationship, not a platonic (and I have to drive this home, because some people online can't seem to fathom that men and women _can_ actually just be friends) mutual friend for the last 9 years. Though, I guess if it wasn't a sexual relationship, he's not like the guy in the last story after all.

More than normal, how much you want to bet that the wife is just a Harry Potter fan? Or this whole thing is rage bait? Like there's little things in the story that just really don't add up. Like how this "shrine" of family photos, a "spellbook" and "spell bottles" and a wand is in a closet? First off, if this girl was Wiccan, her shrine would not be in a closet, second is wands are from fantasy books and not something ACTUALLY used to wave around and cast spells, there would be crystals and runic symbols on charms and depictions of the moon goddess, things like that. It's also not "demonic" and wouldn't be "summoning" anything. If she was a Satanist, she wouldn't have anything he described because they aren't actual demon worshipers. She would either be one of those very ignorant little edgelords trying to emulate the Christian spread myths and misinformation about Satanism and Wicca to look cool... Or it's literally just Harry Potter memorabilia and family photos they don't have space to hang up just being stored away... It's unfortunately still common for zealots to confuse HP for "real" demonic witchcraft. Other little things like mentioning the kids as being miserable but never stating if they also improved after he "fixed" his wife, tacking on that she used to abuse him casually near the very end (something abusers, liars and gaslighters tend to do, showing that the statement was an after thought they added in to the story to pull more sympathy rather than being at the forefront and a larger part of the story), him putting way more emphasis and detail on him and his religion and feels with everything involving the wife and her supposed demon worship and witch craft being very vague, short and scattered. And again, it's also probably just a fake story to get rage bait.

I'm happy to hear that you found your orientation, but as an ethero woman I have a question. I always understood asexuality as either a disinterest in intercourse or an aversion to intercourse, not a disgust with human anatomy. @@mv_03 There are several different forms of it and it's difficult to tell from one story how someone feels about *sexual attraction. Being repulsed by the Human body may not be directly related to if OP is/isn't asexual but I don't think that would be the case if they were homosexual either like many comments suggest, they might have just never bothered looking at the other gender's privates IRL and didn't know their feelings about them until seeing some. *One issue with people having so little exposure to asexuality means that we might try to have sex in order to prove to ourselves that we can feel sexual attraction since everyone insists that we should be able to, it's especially a problem for men.

Thank you for the answer. My mind was filled with so many different questions that I was googling like a maniac to try and understand this. So in short, just to make sure everything is clear, it is possible for people with different orientations to be repulsed not just by the sexual act but also by the genitals of other people, even though it's not a given. It's also possible that this has nothing to do with a person's orientation but more to do with upbringing and "blissful ignorance" one might say. Maybe it's because I was raised by my mom who is a nurse but that last option completely skipped my mind 😅.

@@mv_03 I know I’m not the original commenter here, but I would like to add my two cents to this as someone who is ace-spec (asexuality spectrum) _and_ gay. The people who are saying this dude is possibly gay I wouldn’t exactly agree with. In general, sexuality is a huge spectrum. There are gay men that engage with trans men that haven’t or never will have bottom surgery, and there are also gay men that won’t due to personal preferences. There are trans men in T4T relationships as well- so in general, while I’m sure there are some gay men that have adverse feelings to that particular anatomy (I don’t want my comment to get yoinked), not all do and most well adjusted people generally don’t express it in a disrespectful manner. So to me, this either seems like the intercourse-adverse variety of asexuality (because that in itself varies from mild to blatant) or ignorance. Asexuality is just as big of a spectrum, some may be adverse to the point of being disgusted, some may be neutral, some may not mind it or even actively engage in it, albeit more for the sake of their partner and not themself. Sometimes enjoyment can be gained from the act, just not the same sort of enjoyment someone who isn’t would experience. It’s complicated, but when are human identities not, I suppose.

I would say that as a non-sex repulsed ace his reaction surprised me. For me when I see/talk with sex repulsed Ace people, even the thought of it would get a response of discomfort, so if he was in general sex repulsed, he wouldn’t have made it that far. But everyone’s reactions are different and I may be over generalizing. Could be he just didn’t want to accept it until the moment of confrontation, but I don’t think we can really tell his sexuality based on this story, just that this response means something is going on that he should address before he’s ready for a sexual relationship because the thought of putting another partner through that sounds terrible.

I’m glad not all of you are. As a Pagan I’ve sadly only had bad experiences with Christians. And by the way! Destroying an altar is a good way to get yourself cursed! Some objects can hold a lot of power(if you believe that of course) and being touched in the wrong way can definitely bring about some bad juju on whoever touched it in that way.

Story 1: I mean I'm sure the twist ending will be intense, but his first sentence marked him as the devil(ha ha, get it?). He's right there's hatred in his house, but it's coming from *HIM*. Id feel more safe living with a practicing witch, than with a fanatic like OP. Update: He sucks for even more reasons, 1 for cheating, 2 being disgusted with the gays, 3 being a hypocrite about reason 2 Story 2: Oh good god he sounds exhausting... Story 3: Woah buddy coming on a little strong there. I'd be hella uncomfortable too. He held onto a crush....SINCE 8TH GRADE. And he called her to tell her about their imaginary kids....10 MINUTES AFTER MEETING HER AGAIN. I feel scared for this woman. Story 4: Intercourse's not my highest priorty...says OP...Until it is his priority. Also...Pretty sure he's just a snob that prefers innies because 'they're prettier' Story 5: She probably had the son by herself, even when he was around. Hit the nail on the head, OP is lazy, hence why she's leaving him Story 6: Aaaaand there it is. 'I played into it, and acted like a boyfriend...but I never said the word so she's the delusional one, not me wasting a womans time and energy that could be well spent on LITERALLY ANYONE BUT MEEEE'. What a joke

(She even _makes_ adult videos - and I don't think she makes them with him.) Is it really an open marriage if both sides aren't able to take that option? I mean, yeah, he's a scummy, closeted hypocrite, but if the marriage is open, why would it count as cheating?
@dianaquill9969
@dianaquill9969 Ай бұрын
@@NotAFanOfHandles Ooohhhhh, I'm sorry I missed that part. If it's open and one person isn't happy about it then the marriage was over a while ago. I thought that the marriage was open for like a few weeks, but either way he is violating the definition of marriage as the Bible defines it by sleeping with people outside the marriage. For a guy who repents in the middle of marriage to someone who practices witchcraft, he doesn't really understand that you can still follow your vows when your spouse breaks theirs, or that you can respond with love to the worst actions(and sometimes love means removing yourself and your kids from a dangerous situation, let's make that clear). You're still beholding to your vows, which is why it's generally seen as a sin to marry someone else while your ex wife or ex husband is still alive as far as I understand the Bible. Divorce isn't a sin though, which is likely where I'd be headed if my spouse tried to force me into an open marriage when we met on the condition that we were both monogamous.

Guessing that maybe the big plot twist that the wife really was way way in the deep end and took part in something dramatic like bringing a dead animal into the house. And it was effecting the kids. And the husband had a real reason to be worried about his wife. And that we were wrong for judging the husband in the first part of the story. I mean, you could have some rocks and family photos that have 0 relation to witch craft. But still get a post written about you from a Christian’s perspective claiming his holy ghost said you are doing demonic practices. [rip natural history and geology nerds].

I was a devout, practicing Pagan from 2001-2020, had a large altar with irreplaceable items on it, and currently (as an Atheist) still have a small altar, both of which had/have deeply personal & irreplaceable items on them. I would divorce OP. I'm assuming the wife is Wiccan or Pagan, because if she was a theological Satanist, or into Voodoo, I'm sure he would have mentioned it. Wiccans and Pagans don't tend to have altars for nefarious purposes, and never have their main/only altar be for casting curses. It would be even stranger to have both negative & positive items on the same altar. So unless she was cursing her children, she was (basically) blessing her kids, OP, and his mom.

Story 1: They're clearly not meant for each other, and yeah it's common for wives to act nicer when they're planning their exit so their husbands don't try to stop them. Story 2: They made their bed, now they've gotta lie in it. Story 3: He's definitely a creep. It's ok to admit you once liked someone, but pouring out all the details of how you fantasized about them right to their face is not the move. Especially since they probably weren't even that close, they just happened to know each other from school, and this was their first meeting in years. I would be super creeped out too if I were in her position. Some things are better off kept to yourself. Story 4: Honestly I feel bad for both parties here and I don't think either of them are AHs. Obviously I feel bad for the gf because his reaction probably affected her self-esteem, but I know sometimes no matter how much you want to you can't hide the fact that you're not attracted to someone and I'm sure he didn't want to make her feel bad so I also feel bad for him. I agree with the end comments he's just not attracted to women, and they should simply stop trying to be in a s 3 x ual relationship together. Story 5: Yeah he doesn't realize that he's the reason she was miserable before. Not only did she have to take care of the child by herself, she also had to manage him and his messes too. He was definitely a manchild treating her like a maid like you said or like his mother, and she just cut out the dead weight. Story 6: If he didn't want to be her boyfriend he should've communicated as such from the start and not treated her like a girlfriend. Of course she's gonna think you're dating her when everything signifies that.
