From Executive Producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Show Creator Courtney Kemp (The Good Wife) comes Season 5 of the hit drama “Power.”
Season 5 picks up with James “Ghost” St. Patrick in a dangerous alliance with his former drug partner and brother-in-arms Tommy Egan and mortal enemy Kanan Stark. As Ghost mourns the death of his daughter Raina, he searches for vengeance and throws himself into his work, reaching new, professional heights. But with this newfound publicity, his quest for blood threatens to dismantle his legitimate legacy. Ghost is blind to new enemies and, as the Feds grow closer to unmasking his true identity, Ghost must remain vigilant toward those wanting to take him down for his past criminal enterprises.

Kanan had to die. If you killed an innocent old lady, killed a young kid that was on the same team as you during a diamond store heist, killed your own cousin and your only son, you have to die. Only death I didn't see coming was Raina and Angela

Kanan love for Tariq was pure, at first he saw Tariq as a chess piece to hurt ghost but when he got to know Tariq he saw certain qualities and then took him like a son and school him about the game.

I just had a thought! I think Kanan as a participating character is dead but because Power is inked to season 7 he could haunt Tariq as a ghost. Tariq feels guilty about having Kanan killed so I could easily see him being haunted enough in his subconscious to be guided by Kanan in his mind. Kanan occasionally popping up to tell him to kill someone or telling Tariq how to think and how to move. I could see that.

yeah I saw the writers do that on STAR with a character they killed in a scene but the ghost of the person kept showing up to grieving family..@@derrickalexander9710
