my great grand mother turned 104 just yesterday and she is still alive

This is a story I will remember for the rest of my life. I graduated Highschool a couple years ago and my grandma gave me this small boutique of flowers. I said that they were very pretty and she says that she made sure to take very good care of them. I asked what she meant. It turns out that when I was around 2 - 3, my grandma, I, and some other family were in this park and I walked up to a flower bush and pulled it out, roots and all, and gave it to my grandma while saying "it's pretty like you!". Everyone did the classic "awws" in response, but my grandma took it, planted it, and harvested seeds from it for about a decade and a half, just so she could hand them back to me. I love her with all my heart

I swear that the dog in the thumbnail is one my family fostered. We fostered a toothless, blep-ing havanese named Epi for the korean k9 rescue in Virginia, and she looked EXACTLY like that, down to the finest detail.

I've gotten into a habit of watching these whenever I'm depressed. Life's been hard for me and today was absolute shit. So thank you for making me smile 🙂

A few days ago, we had to wash our kittens because they had fleas, their mom, named Roxie, was super scared and was meowing the entire time, and we put them in a hot towel, she would boop their noses. During the last kitten's bath (named Marshmallow) she climbed from the chair, then put her front feet on my shoulder and was watching over us🥺 We can only keep 1 of the 4 kittens, and we chose the runt🥺 ( Paco) Wish them luck in August when they find forever homes And also, the second youngest was the loudest (Ash) and my grandma is taking Ash, because she needs some more company than her old cat, and she loves them, she broke her leg recently, and she has a lot of diseases and she watches over us every day on my dad's summer week! We are so grateful for her🥺 Edit- The fourth one's name is only Grey currently, without a home yet, but my dad has a friend to take them in case Also, Paco, the runt, is hard of hearing and we love her so much ☺️

My cat is now 19 in human years. She’s partially blind from her age and might be going deaf. She gets very frightened from what she can hear and spooked by what she can see.Many times we thought it was the end for her. Maybe because of the way she was acting or if she wasn't eating, but she always made a comeback. Her name is Laverne and today she would like to say: Everything is gonna be okay :) Edit: Painful grammatical errors Edit 2: As of May 11th 2023, Laverne is no longer with us. She passed away peacefully at 21 and we miss her very much

I once had a humpty dumpty phase as a child and for Christmas my parents searched far and wide for an ornament It's a creepy ornament but I respect how much they care about us to the point of spoiling us

just a lil story from like 3 years back, i used to have 2 dogs and they had puppies. One of the puppies wasnt moving nor was it breathing when it fame out, but it was still warm. So me and my grandma grabbed a towel, wrapped it in it and rubbed as much as we could. After a while it started moving and i was really sad when i saw it get adopted.

Here’s a story about my friend! So one of her pets died, and everyday going to school she was super down and would socialize. This was so different, because usually she was the out-going person in our group. Almost everybody noticed that, and they were especially nice, and the teachers tried their best o add compliments to what she did! It made me so happy to see everybody genuinely cared about her.
