My Dad used to work at Walmart when old Sam was still around. Dad says that when he would stop at our store he was always wearing an Elmer fudd like hunting hat, with a flannel button-down, with a shirt underneath it, tucked into his khakis always wearing tennis shoes. He also recalls Sam being a great human, always down to earth.

@majoratwili7312 just the way management treats their associates. They have no problem turning a blind eye to versus what they are willing to retaliate on, but make sure there's no evidence for that retaliation, but everyone agrees it is. The mental abuse they put their associates through to the point where they physically get sick having to go into work, but they can't find other jobs willing to pay the same, so they feel stuck. It's something that really can only be witnessed and recognized by other or former associates. There's so much I could say, but it would take too long to explain. I've seen the best associates become the worst in one week because of the horrible treatment. I've seen worthless associates get put on a pedestal for things they've never actually done. One of our best associates took a huge paycut to leave, and when she put in her two weeks, they found a reason to coach her when there was nothing to coach her for and our store lead (Co manager) took the sides of our management. Our current managers are worse than the ones we had nearly ten years ago. It's just a huge disaster all around.

Better pro revenge story than that first one: I have a very stupid, scammy, abusive uncle. This is a man who bitched about his first wife, a daughter of law enforcement, having postpartum depression after giving birth to his only child so he took her down to Florida "on vacation", told her he was going to get sodas for them, and then literally abandoned her there 1,000 miles from home on a random Florida beach with a newborn. His own wife. So it gives my heart some joy to let you know when he actually moved to Florida and remarried, he had gotten mixed up with very sketchy Columbians and tried to involve my poor grandmother with them too as he was the golden baby. It turns out they had enough of his shit too and wanted him to divorce his wife. So on a trip back from Columbia, they 'gifted' him some plant thing to take with him... but they 'buried' a bag of white powder in the pot. Well, TSA caught it right away, and apparently my uncle shit himself in fright. My uncle had no idea what it was, but considering the man absolutely did drugs while he was down there, he thought it was so fucking over. Well, the powder ended up just being something like baking soda. They fucking ghosted him, he did what they wanted, and everyone moved on with their lives. He didn't learn to become a better man from the fear of God being instilled in him, but such is life of insufferable narcissists. But we don't forget what *really* happened.

I can vouche for old Sam. There was a Walmart employee that was stealing Xmas layaways. She'd wait til the customer get it all but paid off, pay it off and took it home. Then tell people it didn't exist. It happened to my wife and she managed to got ahold of Walton. He got in the line listening to conversations being made with the layaway clerk, how she was telling people they had no layaway, being rude, etc. After going through the files and finding out what she was doing, he of course fired her. Told my wife, and the others there at the time, to take a copy of their receipts, go shop for like items and ignore the brands and prices, letting everyone pick out better quality stuff than the cheaper items everyone originally had

I had a similar experience with my weed guy years ago... I didn't move in with him thankfully. Just kinda were talking like it could be more. Same thing, very materialistic, fancy clothes, flashy lifestyle. Trashy home, sink full of dishes, nothing picked up.

Story #1: Yeah.. That was petty revenge. Not Pro! Pro would have been to wait until "bro" went to fly home WITH the suitcase and report them before they land! That's PRO revenge.

BRO got off easy, OP couldve tracked his flight and notified TSA as the plane was landing that BRO was suitcasing coke. BRO wouldve been in prison.

In the "bro" story I would've just tipped off the police about the arrival and cocaine plan and had him get arrested.

Man, I've missed "grunt". But for Bro, if he'd gone to prison, he would have had somewhere to live, which OP deprived him of.

Story 1: Like rSlash said, I was hoping OP would have tiped the cops abouts the "suitcasing" after Bro ate and drank everything the night before leaving (specially considering that the dude did all of that after being punished with the bodywash).

I thought he missed his revenge against Bro, too, but that would have been a pretty nuclear revenge and maybe he was pissed off but not nuclear level pissed off.
