Great game and great console. This is amazing how photo-realistic this game looks, 15 years after after its release ! And PCSX2 is really a marvel of an emulator, it makes R: Racing Evo shine even stronger. Definitely a game to rediscover on PC.

The story was so amazing, the intro was pretty good, the gameplay looks pretty damn good, using licensed cars in this game is amazing, the tracks are so beautiful, the atmosphere was pretty nice, the ending was so amazing especially the music was so damn good!! Overall R Racing Evolution is an Amazing Racing Game!

I really miss this game, I wanted to create an Ace Driver reboot that is F1 in the Ace Combat Universe with the fictional Ridge Racer Brands. What I loved about this game was the Radio Chatter like in Ace Combat and the Cutscenes which I think were animated by the same people who did the AC5 Cutscenes. It is after all a Namco game.

This game has a feeling for Enthusia than Ridge Racer, and has some features in game like Spooked/Intimidation system like Evolution GT and Juiced 2. You know, today's racing game could go on realistic, but stay arcade with simple system like Spooked/Intimidation system.

Man, it has better engine sounds than GT5 and GT6 to say the least

the gear ratios on that integra are on point!! like real life 1st gear 60-ish kmh,2nd about 100kmh,3rd 140kmh,4th 180kmh not like gran turismo...gear ratios are too long...2nd gear drops below 6k rpm....I was no....k20a engines don't do that

Frist time I played this game hated the music but loved the intro , , And the story line was stellar , The one really good aspect of the game is it really revealed the real life dirtiness of race fixing that goes on in every sport , I loved it as it was an aspect of sports that is never showing in any game nor has any story mode game put the fixing in the games since .

Honestly, this looks like a PSP game running on PPSSPP on max graphics. The models are nice, but the CG's are a noticeably low resolution and most textures are very low-detail and look like shit. Still a fun game, though.
