"THE FAN'S NOT NOISY, IT'S BARELY NOTICEABLE" He shouted over the noise of the fan.... ;) Looking forward to part 2, particularly thin stuff. I do like a bit of stick welding.

Nice review. RTECH gear is good I think, have an RTECH 200 Ac/Dc tig welder. The fan is noisy, but it has lots to cool. Looking forward to part 2.

Happy New Year young man! Just got a Thermal Arc Tig welder and will be having a go at Tig myself. I have an R Tech plasma 50 and it's a good bit of kit. Looking forward to part 2!

Will this unit weld aluminum? Is the foot pedal available as an option or is it an aftermarket accessory? Thanks for the demo.

The unit will not weld aluminium for that you need AC . The pedal is a option as are various torch set ups

@@doubleboost Good answer and a bit surprising for me - I didn't realise that ac was needed for aluminium. Are ac welders more expensive and will an ac machine do everything a dc machine would? Thanks.
