Blobfish are normally only found out of the water when they're pulled up by fishermen, and their bodies can't handle the fast change of pressure from the pressure of all the water deep in the sea to no pressure out of the water, so their bodies deform and they get that melty appearance. The blobfish has been named the ugliest creature in the world, but they're really not that ugly. Look up a blobfish in the water on Google images. They're actually normal fish when they're not yanked out of the water. Blobfish are also endangered from all of the fishermen pulling them out of the water, and is actually protected by the law in some countries. So there you go!!!
