the mini was going fast before they caught up to it, and continued to go fast after they got off and was ahead of them the majority of the time. so if anything they were trying to keep up with the mini. but in reality they were all just having a good time driving the speeds they felt comfortable at.

Hahahaha!! Now the R6 will never feel the same again. I know how much you love the R6..and with good reason...but there's something unbelievably exciting about the unforgiving raw power of the R1. And that sound! It's like nothing else.

Hes riding it like he would a 600. Hes been doing it for years cant blame him. I did the same thing at first when i rode an r1 actually. Except this one was sprocketed to hell so the power scared me and kept coming up around 10k until 4th gear

That's what's so good about the R1. Leave it in 4th on A mode and you can do just about any speed. Highway or haulass.

Chase you are the first motovlogger I ever watched and I truly appreciate that you are still making videos to this day. Downshift was the third motovlogger I watched yummy r6 was number 2. But back to you chase you are my favorite and I've never missed any vlogs, but there's something about you or downshift guest starring in any other vlogs it gets me so pumped and excited to see I don't understand why. Plz keep them coming.

Watching this actually made me want an R6 more, just like watching an R6 makes me want a Ninja 300. The insane power is always liked from the R1 but I like to use the engine and shift gears. With a 300 you have to know your gearing and plan your moves and turns so you can get the most out of the bike. With the R6 you need to land that power band just right after turns or between shifts to get the power launch above 6K RPM. I don't know, maybe I'm weird but I like working the machine rather than powering through it. Maybe I'll have an R1 just so I can put a turbo...or two on it just to be really cool lol.

It's nice to have that feeling of limitless power. You feel that if you keep going you will lift off the ground like a plane. I haven't ridden the R1 but I know the feeling.

C2W wasn't scared of the bike. he was scared of how much he loved it. 1,000CC is a big step up and im sure with all his riding EXP he'd handle and R1 no problem

A couple of years back my mate asked me pick his R1 up from an MOT, it was an old one, last of the Carb R1s so had an evil kick anywhere near 10K.... my reaction was just like yours.. "No, No, that's just not necessary!", that and laughing. Amazing bikes, you should see if you can get one of the old carbed versions, real game changer!

Rode two of my buddies ZX10 and CBR 1000 just to see what all the fuss was about. My God! The power is amazing. My R6 is no joke, but torque and power are night and day. Liter bikes are awesome. Can't lie.

Mr. Chase! Loved your reactions to this fine machine! Hate to drag another vlogger thru it, as it were, but last season another vlogger had a chance to ride an R1 other than his 600. He didn't seem too impressed. Really? Your response when throttle applied seemed more appropriate! I've got a '13 R1 w/ Toce exhaust. If in 2nd and I drop the hammer and go into 3rd....I have to make sure I have firm grip on the bike, cause she want to leave me. Violently. Glad you got a chance to ride it

That type of acceleration is just the feeling of torque , there is no building up to it, its just there Like my VTR 1000cc vtwin has even more down lower, but lacks what an r1 has up high
