They both ound the same, but aluminium is just abit better, got that note to it. watched the video like twice can't get sick of those flutter noises. :)

Rad video dude! You’ll have to take me for a spin when I’m back in Brisbane. I wonder if having more bends causes More airflow ‘resistance’ and alters the sound as a result. It may cause more of a ‘whooshing’ sound and could detract from the nice metallic reverberation. I hope that makes sense. Im hung over and struggling today haha.

Stainless has a deeper dose, it’s much more dense so it won’t sound as Tinny as aluminium

The factors that affect noise are the materials ability to transfer thermal energy and the resonant frequency of the material. (Better quality metal like Ti has much thinner walls and has a much different resonant frequency than say, stainless steel. (Eg, the sound when you flick it with your fingernail) NB. Flutter sucks.... A properly configured BOV/BPV releases the excess pressure in a controlled manner which takes pressure away from the edges of the compressor wheel vanes asap, which allows the wheel to retain as much speed as possible. *You DO NOT want pulsating pressure waves traveling back and forth from the BOV/BPV to the butterfly and compressor wheel, this only results in an increased time it takes to re-establish a smooth state of flow once the throttle is reopened. Ie; more lag. Forget what all the kids and drift junkies say, a properly sweet sounding setup makes a single, woosh/tsuuuu sound. Flutter is the equivalent of fitting heavy 22" chrome wheels and ultra thin profile rubber and thinking you look cool. May fill the gaurds better and look more athetically pleasing but those in the know are chuckling to themselves when you show em off. **What kind of person spends money on a performance car to make it slower, because the other cool kids do it too?
